Despite BJ Symons' game-high 26 points and Dominic Jackson's 25 points for the Mavericks, Forestville dominated the glass with a 50-31 rebounding advantage. The Eagles turned defence into offense with 24 fast-break points and built their lead to as many as 26 points. Forestville's balanced attack featured six players scoring eight or more points in the comprehensive victory.

Woodville secured an impressive 82-60 victory against North Adelaide at The Lights Community and Sports Centre behind Nick Wurm's stellar 23-point, 5-rebound, 5-steal performance. North Adelaide struggled offensively, shooting just 29.8% from the field and a dismal 13% from three-point range.
