Sydney controlled most of the contest, leading for nearly 29 minutes and building a lead that reached 17 points. Despite Liam Moss and Zachery Hudson scoring 18 points each for Hills, with Hudson adding 13 rebounds for a double-double, the visitors' balanced attack proved too much to overcome. Sydney's 35.5% three-point shooting compared to Hills' 29.6% provided a crucial edge in the high-scoring affair.

The lead changed hands 22 times in this tightly contested battle. Kouat Noi paced Sutherland with 16 points and four steals, while Lochlan Hutchison added 15 points and seven assists. Despite Sutherland forcing 22 turnovers and recording 13 steals, BA CoE's superior field goal percentage (43.5% compared to 34.9%) and interior dominance (40 points in the paint versus 28) proved decisive in securing the win.

Norths Bears claimed a narrow 89-85 victory against Maitland Mustangs at Maitland Federation Centre. Austin Patterson led the Bears with 20 points on efficient 57.1% shooting, while Michael Yoong added 16 points including five three-pointers at an outstanding 71.4% clip.

In a game featuring 17 lead changes, Hunter Goodrick secured a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for Norths. Maitland's Billy Parsons matched with his own double-double of 19 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, but the Bears' excellent three-point shooting (45.5% versus 38.5%) proved crucial. Christian Little added 15 points for the Mustangs in a contest that remained competitive throughout.

Illawarra Hawks dominated Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 108-74 at Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre. Todd Blanchfield delivered a remarkable performance with 37 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, shooting 47.8% from the field including eight three-pointers.

The Hawks controlled the contest throughout, leading for nearly 35 minutes and extending their advantage to as much as 39 points. Matthew Mims contributed 19 points off the bench, including five three-pointers, while Manly struggled against Illawarra's offensive onslaught. Mason Bragg led the Sea Eagles with 16 points and four assists, but Manly's 24.4% three-point shooting compared to Illawarra's excellent 45.7% highlighted the gap between the sides.

Bankstown secured a hard-fought 81-77 victory against Penrith at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre in a game that featured an astounding 24 lead changes. Jaylin Galloway was exceptional for the visitors, pouring in a game-high 25 points while adding nine rebounds and four steals. Dominique Keyes recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while veteran Jason Cadee contributed 19 points and six assists in the winning effort.

The contest was a defensive struggle with both teams shooting below 41 percent from the field. Penrith was led by Zeke Evans, who registered a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Jonah Pares added his own double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds alongside six assists. Despite controlling the lead for over 24 minutes compared to Bankstown's 11 minutes, Penrith couldn't maintain their advantage down the stretch. The game's competitiveness was highlighted not only by the frequent lead changes but also by similar rebounding numbers (51-48 in Bankstown's favor) and nearly identical three-point shooting percentages (24.3% for Bankstown, 30.8% for Penrith).
