Australians delivered a strong slate of NCAAM performances, with Joseph Locandro’s four threes, Joel Foxwell’s 10-assist night and Josh Dent’s 24-point breakout leading a productive Sunday, November 23, 2025 (AEDT) across college basketball.

Senior Joseph Locandro, from Melbourne, delivered another confident perimeter-scoring performance as Maryland Eastern Shore claimed a 63–52 win over Binghamton at the Queen City Classic. The 6'9 forward logged 20 minutes and scored 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting, knocking down four threes at a 66.7% clip. Locandro added two rebounds, one assist and a block, while committing four turnovers, providing a mix of shot-making and physical interior presence as UMES controlled the matchup.

Freshman Joel Foxwell, from Melbourne, delivered another high-usage, multi-impact performance despite Portland’s overtime loss to Northern Colorado at the Portland Invitational. The 6'1 guard played 33 minutes and finished with nine points on 4-for-12 shooting, adding eight rebounds, ten assists and two steals. Foxwell struggled from deep at 1-for-5 but controlled large stretches of the Pilots’ offense, facilitating consistently and competing defensively throughout a physically demanding contest.

Sophomore James O’Donnell, from Sydney, supplied strong frontcourt production across 33 minutes. The 6'10 forward scored 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting, added five rebounds and two assists, and played disciplined interior minutes. O’Donnell didn’t attempt a three and finished 2-for-6 at the line, but his finishing around the rim, size on the glass and activity in Portland’s actions provided reliability in a high-possession matchup.

Senior Harry Wessels, from Boddington, delivered one of his strongest outings of the season as Saint Mary’s overwhelmed UC Merced at home. The 7'1 centre logged 15 minutes and scored 12 points on 4-for-6 shooting, adding nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal. Wessels’ physical presence, interior finishing and activity on the glass anchored the Gaels’ dominant interior display.

Sophomore Joshua Dent, from Wollongong, produced an explosive scoring performance across 28 minutes, pouring in 24 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including 5-for-9 from deep. The 6'3 guard added four assists and a steal, showing pace, shot-making and confident creation as Saint Mary’s controlled the matchup end-to-end.

Freshman Rory Hawke, from Townsville, provided a tidy 12-minute rotation spell, contributing two points on 2-for-2 from the line while grabbing three rebounds. The 6'5 guard didn’t attempt a field goal but supplied energy on the glass and clean defensive minutes throughout the Gaels’ blowout win.
