Perth 80 def Rockingham 79 — Watch the Replay
Natalie Chou delivered a stellar 23-point performance as Perth edged Rockingham 80-79 in a thrilling contest at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre. Chou shot 9-from-25 from the field while adding eight rebounds and four steals, with Alaska Rhebok contributing 15 points. For Rockingham, Alexandra Sharp poured in 21 points while Sydney Erikstrup added 17 in the losing effort.
The game featured 11 lead changes as both teams battled for supremacy. Perth managed to overcome their dismal 21.7 percent three-point shooting by dominating the paint, outscoring Rockingham 42-32 inside. Shenae Hartree was outstanding on the glass for Perth, pulling down 10 rebounds including five on the offensive end to help secure crucial second-chance opportunities in the tight contest.
Willetton 84 def Mandurah 73 — Watch the Replay
Zitina Aokuso dominated with a phenomenal double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds as Willetton defeated Mandurah 84-73 at Willetton Basketball Stadium. Aokuso shot an efficient 11-from-16 from the field while adding five assists and two blocks in a complete performance. Ajulu Thatha contributed 21 points and nine rebounds while Eva Langton added 19 points for the winners.
Despite Mandurah forcing 22 turnovers and recording 13 steals, they couldn't overcome Willetton's dominant inside presence. Claire Jacobs led Mandurah with 20 points, while Tina Stephens (13 points, 10 rebounds, five steals) and Grace Berg (11 points, 10 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles in the loss. Willetton's overwhelming rebounding advantage (53-36) and superior shooting efficiency (48.5 percent to 35 percent) proved decisive.
Perry Lakes 96 def Joondalup 65 — Watch the Replay
Alex Fowler delivered a dominant double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds as Perry Lakes crushed Joondalup 96-65 at HBF Arena Joondalup. Fowler was outstanding, shooting 10-from-14 from the field including 9-from-10 on two-point attempts. Megan McKay added 16 points on 7-from-8 shooting, while Jayda Clark contributed 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Perry Lakes controlled the game from start to finish, building a lead that reached 39 points. Their inside dominance was evident as they outscored Joondalup 64-26 in the paint while shooting a stellar 51.3 percent from the field. Despite the lopsided score, Kurstyn Harden impressed for Joondalup with 15 points and 16 rebounds, while Stefanie Berberabe added 17 points in the defeat.
Cockburn 107 def East Perth 72 — Watch the Replay
Sarah Mortensen exploded for 34 points and 10 rebounds as Cockburn dominated East Perth 107-72 at Wally Hagan Stadium. Mortensen was nearly unstoppable, shooting 15-from-23 from the field including 4-from-8 from three-point range. Stephanie Gorman added 21 points with five triples, while Daniel Raber recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Cockburn's defence forced 22 turnovers while recording 16 steals in a disruptive defensive performance. Awatea Leach led East Perth with 17 points, while Abby Cubilo contributed 16 points and five assists. Sasha Goodlett recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for East Perth. The Cougars' hot shooting (44.1 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from three) and commanding 55-42 rebounding advantage helped them cruise to victory.
East Perth 96 def Perth 84 — Watch the Replay
East Perth secured a hard-fought 96-84 victory against Perth at Morley Sport and Recreation Centre on Friday night. Sasha Goodlett delivered a dominant double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Abby Cubilo added 23 points and eight rebounds. The Eagles shot an efficient 52.4 percent from the field and controlled the paint with 52 points inside.
Perth's Patricia Brossmann was outstanding in defeat, recording 28 points and 16 rebounds. Despite trailing for much of the contest, Perth managed eight lead changes throughout the game but struggled from three-point range, hitting just 27.6 percent of their attempts. East Perth's balanced attack featured four players scoring in double figures, with Awatea Leach (20 points, nine rebounds) and Madison Torresin (20 points, six rebounds) rounding out the quartet.
Willetton 92 def Lakeside 88 — Watch the Replay
Zitina Aokuso delivered one of the most spectacular performances in NBL1 West history, pouring in 45 points as Willetton edged Lakeside 92-88 at Lakeside Recreation Centre. The dominant centre shot an incredible 81.8 percent from the field (18-from-22) while adding 12 rebounds in a complete performance. Aokuso was nearly unstoppable inside, connecting on 15-of-17 two-point attempts.
Lakeside put up a valiant fight with Teige Morrell leading the way with 22 points and nine rebounds on 56 percent shooting. Sarah Allen added 20 points including five three-pointers, and Oceane Kounkou contributed 15 points. The closely contested battle featured 38 lead changes and 14 ties, with Willetton's Eva Langton orchestrating the offense with 10 assists against just one turnover. The Tigers' victory came despite Lakeside's impressive 41.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Warwick 119 def Eastern Suns 74 — Watch the Replay
Warwick delivered a comprehensive 119-74 thrashing of Eastern Suns at Warwick Stadium, with Chloe Forster leading the onslaught with 28 points, shooting an efficient 61.5 percent from the field. The Senators displayed remarkable balance with six players scoring in double figures, including Kyana Weir (21 points including five three-pointers) and Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard (18 points, six rebounds).
Eastern Suns struggled against Warwick's suffocating defense, committing 26 turnovers that led to 14 points for the Senators. Karly Murphy was the lone bright spot for the Suns with 28 points and nine rebounds. Warwick built a lead as large as 48 points while connecting on 15 three-pointers and dominating the boards 49-45. Emma Gandini filled the stat sheet with seven points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and five steals in a stellar all-around performance for the Senators.
Cockburn 118 def SW Slammers 66 — Watch the Replay
The Cockburn Cougars dismantled the SW Slammers 118-66 at Eaton Rec Centre, showcasing their offensive firepower with five players scoring in double figures. Jessie Edwards led the balanced attack with 19 points on a nearly perfect 8-from-9 shooting, adding nine rebounds and three assists. Stephanie Gorman contributed 16 points, including three triples, while Daniel Raber recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Cougars overwhelmed the Slammers with their interior dominance, outscoring them 58-30 in the paint and outrebounding them 50-24. Mykea Gray fought valiantly for the Slammers with 21 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, but received little support from her teammates. Cockburn's defense was equally impressive, forcing 20 turnovers that they converted into 16 points while holding the Slammers to just 20 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
