Victorian guard Jai Fa'ale will be 23 years-old in 2032, the year Brisbane will host the Olympic Games.
Basketball Australian Centre of Excellence teammate Luke Paul has garnered the lion's share of attention during the past six months or so but absolutely make no mistake Fa'ale, 17, is right there. Paul is also considered a future Boomer after becoming an NBL Next Star back in January.
To say the right-handed Fa'ale is a prospect is an understatement and his NBL1 Box Score in 2026 for the 13-3 CoE reinforces the fact, he is a future Australian Boomer if he continues on his current trajectory.
Fa'ale is part of the NBL Next Stars competing in Italy this weekend for NBA scouts at the adidas Eurocamp.

Back in January and the Australian Under-20 National Championships, basketball.com.au website editor Brayden Heslehurst watched Fa'ale pull apart defenses.
"We all know Victorian guard Jai Fa'ale is a superstar on the rise but the talented young guard is continuing to improve his game," Heslehurst wrote on Day 2 of the Under-20 National Championships earlier this year.
"Already boasting an elite ability to attack the rim, both in transition and off pick and roll play, an area of improvement for the youngster that has been identified is his jump shot.
"Even though he only went 2-from-8 from the three-point line in Victoria's win over Queensland, the two he did hit were off the dribble after shedding his primary defender. In his 27-point performance, Fa'ale looked a class above and if he can continue to improve from the perimeter, the sky is the ceiling."
