Ipswich 130 def Brisbane 125 — Watch the Replay
Lamar Patterson delivered a masterful performance with 45 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists as Ipswich outlasted Brisbane 130-125 in an overtime thriller at Auchenflower Stadium. Patterson shot an efficient 48.1 percent from the field, including 5-from-11 from three-point range, and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line, going 14-of-15. DJ Mitchell added a double-double with 36 points and 11 rebounds while shooting an outstanding 56.5 percent from the field.
Brisbane showed tremendous fight despite the loss, with Samuel McDaniel pouring in 38 points while dishing out 10 assists. Matthew Johns contributed 23 points, six rebounds, and six assists while Uche Dibiamaka added 26 points, including 6-from-14 from beyond the arc. The game featured 23 lead changes and eight ties, with both teams shooting exceptionally well from the field – Ipswich at 53.6 percent and Brisbane at 55.7 percent. The Force's dominance on the offensive glass (13-9) and superior free-throw shooting (23-of-28 compared to Brisbane's 11-of-15) ultimately made the difference in this high-scoring affair.
Gold Coast 81 def Northside 77 — Watch the Replay
Preston Le Gassick scored 26 points to lead Gold Coast to a hard-fought 81-77 victory against Northside at Carrara Stadium. Le Gassick shot 42.1 percent from the field and added seven free throws, while Jensen Bradtke recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Reuben Te Rangi contributed 17 points in an all-round team effort for the Rollers.
Northside was paced by Durrell McDonald's 18 points and six rebounds, with Nikau McCullough adding 14 points. Josh Kunen contributed a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Jed Richardson filled the stat sheet with nine points, 12 rebounds, five steals and two blocks. The game featured 11 lead changes and was ultimately decided by Gold Coast's superior free-throw shooting, as they went 22-of-33 from the line compared to Northside's 8-of-12. Despite shooting only 26.9 percent from three-point range, the Rollers made up for it with strong defensive plays, recording seven steals and five blocks.
Sunshine Coast 108 def Logan 93 — Watch the Replay
Earnest Ross led the Sunshine Coast Phoenix to a commanding 108-93 victory against Logan at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre, scoring 24 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Erik Kafritsas added 19 points on 41.2 percent shooting, including 4-from-10 from three-point range, while Jamaal Robateau contributed 18 points in an efficient performance. Darnell Robateau narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
Logan's Matt Kenyon recorded a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds along with eight assists, while Zac Triplett and Callum Dalton added 18 and 17 points respectively. Tom Howard connected on 5-from-7 threes to finish with 15 points. The Phoenix dominated the second half after trailing early, shooting an efficient 44.1 percent from beyond the arc on 15-of-34 attempts. Sunshine Coast's ball security proved crucial, committing just five turnovers compared to Logan's 14, which they converted into valuable transition opportunities. The victory extends Sunshine Coast's winning streak to four games.
