"Mouth-watering" is how Australia's greatest point guard, Michele Timms, described the WNBL26 Semi-Finals starting in Perth today (Saturday, February 14, 2026).
Second vs third – Perth Lynx vs defending champions Bendigo Spirit in Game 1 in Perth, before first vs fourth – Townsville Fire vs Southside Melbourne Flyers – in Game 1 of their series tomorrow (Sunday, February 15, 2026).

Timms on Townsville Fire vs Southside Melbourne: "(Flyers) They can junk it up defensively. Change defences. Townsville sometimes take time to adjust. But they usually find answers. This series could easily go to three."
Timms on Perth Lynx vs Bendigo Spirit and Perth's 1-3-1 zone: "That’s been the thorn in Bendigo’s side. Identifying it quickly will be key. It’s a chess match between two brilliant coaches. Most people will say Perth, but every time I’ve underestimated Bendigo, they’ve won."
