Zara Russell delivered an impressive 22-point performance as BA CoE secured a thrilling 75-73 win against Albury Wodonga at Lauren Jackson Sports Centre. Russell shot 6-from-19 from the field while connecting on 8-of-10 from the charity stripe in the back-and-forth contest. Olivia Olechnowicz added 18 points with exceptional efficiency, shooting 5-from-7 from the field including 2-from-4 from beyond the arc.

The game featured an incredible 21 lead changes, with neither team leading by more than eight points throughout the contest. Albury Wodonga's Caitlyn Jones put on a spectacular shooting display with 29 points on 11-from-23 shooting, while Brynn Masikewich recorded a dominant double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Both teams struggled from three-point range, with BA CoE shooting 27.3 percent and Albury Wodonga converting 29.6 percent from deep.

Nicole Munger delivered a stellar double-double with 29 points and 16 rebounds as Newcastle defeated Bankstown 63-52 at Newcastle Basketball Stadium. The versatile guard added seven assists and two steals while shooting 9-from-25 from the field, including 3-from-11 from three-point range. Claudea Waihape Andrews contributed six points and seven rebounds, adding an impressive seven steals to disrupt Bankstown's offense.

Newcastle built a lead that reached 20 points during the contest, though both teams struggled with shooting efficiency. The home team converted just 29.6 percent from the field, while Bankstown shot 28.4 percent and managed only 3-from-30 from beyond the arc. Juliunn Redmond led Bankstown with 13 points, while Jada Rice contributed six points and 15 rebounds in the loss. The victory solidified Newcastle's position in the standings as they overcame 20 turnovers by forcing 24 from their opponents.
