On August 30, adidas is releasing the Jabbar Lo to honour what would have been Bruce Lee's 85th birthday.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Lee starred in a famous fight scene in Lee's 1978 classic Game of Death.

Abdul-Jabbar, 78, was close friends with the martial artist and the shoe pays homage to Lee's iconic yellow and black tracksuit.

Goat.com.au describes them: "The Bruce Lee x adidas Jabbar Low 'Game of Death' presents a special-edition colourway that honours the pop culture icon. Nodding to Bruce Lee's jumpsuit in 'Game of Death,' a film that saw the martial artist going toe to toe with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the classic silhouette sports a yellow suede upper with black leather detailing on the three-stripes and back tab. The latter displays a metallic gold graphic depicting Lee in mid-flight, while his signature is embroidered on the lateral heel. Images of Lee squaring off against Abdul-Jabbar adorn the custom sock-liner."
