Aussies continue to make their mark on college basketball as the opening week of NCAA rolls on

It didn't take long but boom Aussie recruit Roman Siulepa appears to be already finding his groove in American college basketball.

The Queenslander, who chose basketball over a possible rugby career and recently joined basketball.com.au's Jason Cadee on 'Cut to the Jase', reached double figures for the first time as his Pitt side went 2-0 to start the season.

NCAA Box Score: Pitt vs Longwood

Roman Siulepa had his best game yet in college basketball, although it's only two games into the regular season, scoring 12 points as Pitt beat the Longwood Lancers 78-60.

Siulepa also gabbed three rebounds and dished out two assists in his 24 minutes.

NCAA Box Score: Northeastern vs Colgate

Queensland's Ben Tweedy had six points, four rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes for the Colgate Raiders but it wasn't enough as the Northeastern Huskies recorded a 68-65 win at Cotterell Court.

NCAA Box Score: Harvard vs MIT

Australian Luca Ace-Nasteski played three minutes and had one rebound as Harvard beat MIT 79-50 at Lavietes Pavillion.

NCAA Box Score: Liberty vs Charleston

Aussie Will Mortimore received a DNP as the College of Charleston Cougars fell to the Liberty Flames 90-75 at Liberty Arena.

NCAA Box Score: Purdue vs Oakland

Prized Purdue recruit in Sunshine Coast big man Oscar Cluff continues to shine for the Boilermakers after an 87-77 win over the Oakland Golden Grizzlies at Mackey Arena.

Cluff, who moved to Purdue from South Dakota in the transfer portal, fell just short of a double-double again, this time recording nine points and 14 rebounds along with two assists in 28 minutes.

NCAA Box Score: Washington State @ 🇦🇺 Davidson  

RJ Greer logged five minutes in the Davidson Wildcats' 85-69 blow-out of Washington State. Greer was 0-2 and didn't score.

Tennessee Tech @ 🇦🇺 Charlotte

Neither Tyler Fearne nor Frank Oguche suited up. We are checking on the status of Fearne.

🇦🇺 Detroit Mercy @ Notre Dame

Xavier Istomin-Monroe scored two points in 17 minutes off the bench for Detroit in their tough 102-70 loss to the Fighting Irish. Istomin-Monroe grabbed three boards, and a block and was 1-from-2 from the field.

Mount St Mary (NY) @ 🇦🇺 Fordham

Queensland freshman Abass Bodija delivered a 10-point and 12 rebound double-double as Fordham absolutely destroyed Mount St Mary 106-37 in New York. Bodija went 5-from-7 from the field and added four assists and a steal to his stat sheet. Freshman forward Roor Akhuar, from Canberra, came off the bench and had 14 points in just 17 minutes. He pulled down six rebounds, and picked up a steal. Akhuar shot 6-from-12.

Northern Illinois @ 🇦🇺 Wisconsin

Melbourne's Austin Rapp stuffed the stat sheet in Wisconsin's 97-72 win against Northern Illinois. Rapp scored eight points, grabbed six rebounds, three assists and a block in 20 minutes as a starter. He was 3-from-5 from the field but missed both three point field goal attempts.

Utah Tech @ 🇦🇺 Arizona

Melbourne Senior Anthony Dell’Orso has started his final year strong, he backed up the Wildcats' first win of the season against Alex Condon's National champion Florida Gators with an 18-point performance in Arizona's 93-67 win against Utah Tech. Dell’Orso was 6-from-10 from the field, made three of his five three point attempts while securing a rebound, dishing four assists to go with a block and a steal.

UIC @ 🇦🇺 Oregon State

Adelaide Junior centre Yaak Yaak scored three points in eight minutes and pulled down two rebounds in Oregon State's 76-73 win against the UIC Flames.

Chattanooga @ 🇦🇺 Saint Mary’s

Australian Rory Hawke scored a point in 16 minutes off the bench as Saint Mary's did the business against Chattanooga 87-66. The Gaels are 2-0 to start the season.

Harry Wessels and Joshua Dent didn't suit up.

🇦🇺 Idaho State @ San Diego

Tasmanian Sophomore guard Lachlan Brewer started for Idaho State and scored four points in 24 minutes as the Bengals rolled the San Diego Toreros 71-68.

Brewer was 2-from-5 from the field, grabbed three rebounds, an assist and a steal. He missed both of his three point attempts.
