- August 22: Listed as "out" on the pre-game injury report (left knee).
- September 4: Indiana Fever revealed Bibby would miss the rest of the season due to a left knee injury.
basketball.com.au contributor Hayley Wildes described Bibby's first game for the Valkyries at the end of July as "electric".
"In her WNBA regular season debut, Bibby was electric as the Valkyries defeated the Indiana Fever, 88-77. Bibby played 24 minutes and finished with 12 points (4/9 FG) and 3 rebounds, showcasing her outside shooting with a pair of triples. A few days later, she again proved valuable for Golden State as they dominated Connecticut, 87-63, finishing with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 20 minutes of action," Wildes wrote.
Through it all, Bibby shot 40.5% from three, 89% from the free throw line and averaged almost five points per game and two rebounds in 11 minutes per game.
