Australian men's players delivered mixed contributions across NCAA Men's Division 1 basketball on November 19, 2025.
Joseph Locandro was the standout, scoring eight points in a double-overtime win for Maryland Eastern Shore. Joshua Hughes added 11 for Evansville, while several freshmen — Ben Waller, Xavier Istomin-Monroe, James Dyson-Merwe and Luke Fennell — logged short rotation minutes.

Victorian freshman Ben Waller saw a brief three-minute stint in UC Riverside’s road loss to California Baptist. The Traralgon guard finished scoreless, attempting no shots, but contributed two rebounds and one assist without committing a foul. His lone turnover came on an early possession, but he otherwise provided clean, low-mistake minutes in limited action as the Highlanders struggled to keep pace with the unbeaten Lancers.

He added four rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal while committing one turnover and two fouls. His physical interior play and composure at the stripe kept the Aces competitive throughout a high-tempo matchup. Sydney freshman James Dyson-Merwe delivered another efficient cameo off the bench, scoring four points in 10 minutes on perfect 2-of-2 shooting. Locandro logged 26 minutes and delivered efficient scoring, finishing with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting, including 1-of-2 from deep. He added two rebounds, a block and a steal, while committing two turnovers and five fouls. His physical presence and timely scoring in the paint helped the Hawks stay competitive through both overtime periods in one of their grittiest wins of the season.
