Isabelle Bourne delivered a stellar double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds as Keilor secured an 86-81 win against Waverley at Keilor Stadium. Maddison Rocci was outstanding with a game-high 28 points, including 13-from-15 from the free throw line, while adding nine assists and three steals in an exceptional all-round performance.
The contest featured 16 lead changes in a back-and-forth battle, with Keilor eventually pulling away behind their efficient three-point shooting (50 percent) compared to Waverley's dismal 26 percent from deep. Katelyn Shumate led Waverley with 23 points on impressive 63 percent shooting from the field, while Carley Ernst contributed a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in defeat. Penina Davidson added 18 points and nine rebounds for Keilor, who led for over 35 minutes of game time.
Diamond Valley 82 def Dandenong 73 — Watch the Replay
Abbey Ellis poured in 20 points, including four three-pointers, and grabbed seven rebounds as Diamond Valley defeated Dandenong 82-73 at Dandenong Basketball Stadium. The visitors shot an efficient 46 percent from the field while holding Dandenong to just 36 percent shooting in a solid defensive performance.
Lara McSpadden dominated the paint with 17 points on outstanding 62 percent shooting, adding six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks for Diamond Valley. Nyadiew Puoch led all Dandenong scorers with 23 points while securing seven rebounds, but struggled with efficiency, shooting just 40 percent from the field. Diamond Valley maintained control for most of the game, leading for over 35 minutes and building their advantage to as many as 15 points. Erin Riley contributed 16 points on 55 percent shooting, including 4-from-7 from three-point range for the winners.
