How to read this roster
Position is the column the player occupies on our projected depth chart, so a player listed in two columns plays both. Import marks an international player, Development a development player and Injured a player carrying an injury and Out for the season one ruled out of WNBL27 entirely. A blank Type means none of those marks applies.
Rosters are our own, compiled from club and league announcements. Where the league’s own feed and our tracker disagree on who is on a list, we publish ours.

The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Aja Parham-Ammar. This chart is built from basketball.com.au's WNBL27 roster tracker and the club and league releases behind it. It carries no contracted-roster count, unlike the NBL charts, because the WNBL27 roster limit and its import rules have not been confirmed: a cap is not something to infer from a roster that may simply be unfinished. Maddy Westbeld and Aspen Crase are both pending league approval. The roster tracker still showed the starting power forward slot as vacant; Westbeld signed as an import on 29 July and fills it. Kiara Waite is shown at power forward because Adelaide call her a forward, while the WNBL list her as a 6'3" centre (if the league is right she is the second centre behind Zitina Aokuso, who is otherwise alone in that column).
2 of the 11 players shown are imports; 1 of the 11 players shown is a development player.

The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Kennedy Kereama. Kelly Wilson has committed to Bendigo for WNBL27, subject to WNBL review and approval. She is the most-capped player in the league's history with 478 games, the only one ever to pass 450, and its all-time leader in assists with 1,649. She was part of the Spirit side that won the 2024-25 championship. The club has not given her a depth position, so showing her behind Jade Melbourne at point guard is our reading rather than theirs, though it is the position she has played her whole career.
Marianna Tolo has returned to Bendigo for WNBL27, completing a roster of 10. She reached 250 WNBL games in Round 6 last season and was made a WNBL Life Member alongside her co-captain Kelsey Griffin, then announced she was pregnant and missed the rest of the campaign; she and husband Dan Jackson welcomed daughter Mya in May. She is shown as the starting centre. Neither she nor Jade Melbourne is an import, and both were previously marked as one on this chart in error.

Head coach: Cheryl Chambers. Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard is new to this chart. She re-signed on 15 May and appeared only in the club's own transaction log, in neither its roster lines nor its depth chart. Han Xu is here rather than at Perth: she signed with Geelong on 28 July, while the tracker still listed her as a Perth signing still to come. The roster tracker's Geelong section is also the one club entry with no head coach line; Cheryl Chambers is named as coach elsewhere in the same article and by the WNBL.
2 of the 9 players shown are imports.
On the roster but not projected in the rotation above: Millie McCarthy (development player, a guard on NBL1); Aleks Connolly (development player, a guard on NBL1); Poppy Stevens (development player, a guard on NBL1); Jasmine King (development player, a guard on NBL1).

Projected Perth Lynx Depth Chart1 INJ

| Rotation | Alex Ciabattoni | Steph Gorman | – | – | Teonni Key(IMP) |
| Depth | Sami Whitcomb(INJ) | Samantha Ashby | – | – | – |
The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Ryan Petrik. Perth have named neither a starting five nor a depth position for any of their four new signings, so every placement here is our reading. Teonni Key could as easily back up Anneli Maley at power forward as sit behind Teige Morrell at centre: Ryan Petrik's own words were size, mobility and rim protection.
Teonni Key committed on 31 August and is Perth's second import alongside Haley Peters. The 6'5" forward went 22nd in the 2026 WNBA draft and is a rookie at the Toronto Tempo under Opals head coach Sandy Brondello, after two seasons at Kentucky and a start at North Carolina, a career-high 11.4 points in her final college season and a top-10 finish in the SEC for blocks in each of her last two.
Georgia Amoore signed on 28 August, less than a day after Sami Whitcomb was ruled out for the season. The Ballarat point guard went sixth in the 2025 WNBA draft, lost that year to an ACL injury, and has started all 38 of her games for the Washington Mystics this season at 3.4 assists. She is Australian and takes no import place, and point guard is the position she plays and the one Whitcomb vacates.
Sami Whitcomb is on the chart and badged (INJ) because she will not play this season. The Opals captain is contracted on the two-year deal she signed in May and misses the whole of WNBL27 with the knee injury that also ruled her out of the World Cup. She is shown rather than hidden on Peter Brown's instruction of 6 September, so a reader can see the club is carrying her, and she is placed at point guard because that is the position she was signed to play. Perth have ten players contracted and nine available.
Samantha Ashby committed on 25 August, a Western Australian guard from the Perth Redbacks who averaged 21.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 3.5 three-pointers and 2.5 steals a game in NBL1 West and made the All-NBL1 West Second Team.
Haley Peters committed on 25 August as the club's first import of WNBL27, both WNBL26 imports having left unreplaced: Brianna Turner and Yemiyah Morris. The American forward arrives from Southside, where she played alongside fellow Lynx recruit Nya Lok, and has WNBA time with Connecticut, San Antonio, Washington and Atlanta as well as seasons in France, Spain, Turkey and Italy.
All four are subject to WNBL review and approval. Steph Gorman is a re-signing rather than an arrival; the tracker filed her under new arrivals.
2 of the 10 players shown are imports; 1 of the 10 players shown is a player carrying an injury.

The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Sam Mackinnon. Sakima Walker starts at centre, with Hannah Hank behind her. Southside signed the 196cm American to “bolster their frontcourt” and have not published a depth position, so the order here is this masthead’s. Walker won an NCAA championship with South Carolina in 2024 and averaged 11.9 points and 6.7 rebounds at California last season.
Macey Boyle is shown at point guard, and that column is ours. Southside signed her as a development player and NBL1 lists her as a guard for Keilor Thunder, but neither says which guard spot, so she is placed where the guard columns had room rather than where anyone has put her.
Claire Jacobs is new to this chart, signing on 17 August after five US college seasons across La Salle and Nevada. Lara Edmanson and Isobelle Wightman remain absent from the roster tracker itself: Edmanson is an Australian forward out of Villanova signing her first WNBL contract, and Wightman was promoted from development player to the full roster on 14 August. Neither has been given a position by the club, so their placement and their order here are ours. Cayla George is not on this chart: she has announced that she is expecting her second child and has withdrawn from Opals duty. Neither she nor the club has said whether she will play WNBL27, and the WNBL's own roster tracker still lists her at Southside, so leaving her out is our call rather than a reported fact.
2 of the 11 players shown are imports; 1 of the 11 players shown is a development player.
On the roster but not projected in the rotation above: Holly Griffiths (development player, called "the forward" by the club, which does not say which forward spot); Cayla George (signed to a two-year deal in July 2025, no position published).

The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Renae Garlepp. Swain's point-guard column is ours, and it is a projection for a season she will miss. The club calls her a guard and she is on a three-year extension, but it does not say which guard spot, so the column is our reading rather than theirs.
The four development players are PENDING LEAGUE APPROVAL. Zoey Miller (Manly-Warringah, returning for a second season with the Flames), Peggy Schell (Norths), Alex Oliver (Sydney) and Kaila Proctor (Bankstown) were named on 28 August, all through the club's Future Flames pathway. They are shown in the bottom row of their position, marked DP, and their places on the roster are not yet confirmed by the league. Two of the four sit outside their natural position: Kaila Proctor is listed as a guard with no point or shooting split and is carried at shooting guard, and Alex Oliver is a power forward carried at centre for depth, behind Maya Dodson and Darcy Rees. Shaneice Swain is on the chart and badged (INJ) because she will not play this season. She suffered a season-ending ACL injury playing NBL1 South in July. She is shown rather than hidden on Peter Brown's instruction of 6 September, so a reader can see the club is carrying her: Sydney have eleven players signed and ten available, plus the four development players above. Two names on this chart are published more than one way across our own pages (Ally Wilson also appears as Alex Wilson, and Issy Bourne as Isabelle Bourne) and are shown here as the club lists them.
2 of the 15 players shown are imports; 4 of the 15 players shown are development players; 1 of the 15 players shown is a player carrying an injury.

The detail behind this chart
Head coach: Claudia Brassard. This roster is complete. Madina Okot signed on 5 August as the second import and the final player on the inaugural roster, so the tracker's "still to sign" line no longer applies. Two names here need settling. Nikki Parker appears on the roster tracker's chart with no signing recorded anywhere on that page, and is carried here unchanged rather than removed. Ella Tofaeono's surname is published three ways across our own pages. Tofaeono is used here because it is the spelling the league uses most and the one our own pages use almost throughout, but the alternative appears in her own signing article, which is normally the strongest single source, so this one is a judgement rather than a settled fact.
2 of the 12 players shown are imports; 1 of the 12 players shown is a development player.

Head coach: Shannon Seebohm. Marie Gulich is new to this chart, a 196cm German international who signed as an import on 29 July with 66 WNBA games behind her. The roster tracker was still listing a starting centre as still to sign three weeks later. Bree Stephens and Catelyn Van Es signed as development players on 5 August and were also absent; neither has been given a position by the club, so their placement here is ours.
Cheyenne Bobongie has signed, a 17-year-old from Mackay who averaged 11.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists for the Meteorettes in NBL1 North and had nine assists in the National Finals. The club describes her only as a guard, so point guard here is our read of that assist rate rather than the club's. Her contract type has not been stated.
