Unbeaten Australia is the the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup under-16 girls champions for a record fourth time after beating New Zealand 86-50 win over trans-Tasman rivals, New Zealand, in the gold medal game in Malaysia on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Madison Ryan and Isabel Smith were named to the All-Star Five while Japan's Miya Takeuchi won the tournament MVP.
