Alanna Smith's past year on the court could go to a new level playing for USD $600,000 in Unrivaled

Australian Opals star Alanna Smith and the Mist will have the chance to play for USD $600,000 in prize money after making it through to the Unrivaled championship game in Miami.

Smith did a little bit of everything in the semi-final as the Mist beat the Breeze 73-69, scoring 11 points and hitting 3-from-3 from beyond the arc to help her team go one step closer to the league's second championship title.

The 2024 Olympic bronze medalist also grabbed six rebounds, dished out five assists and nabbed two steals along the way.

Smith and the Mist will take on Phantom on Thursday at 1.30pm (AEDT).

It would complete a remarkable 12 months for Smith, who was named the WNBA's Co-Defensive Player of the Year, alongside Las Vegas' A'ja Wilson.

More to come.
