Josh Giddey dominated in Denver as other Aussies had mixed games in NBA pre-season action Wednesday.

Australian point guard Josh Giddey led the way for Chicago in their 124-117 loss to Denver, delivering another all-around performance.

The 23-year-old Boomers guard finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists, shooting 7-of-14 from the field and 3-from-7 from three in 29 minutes.

Fellow Australian Lachlan Olbrich also saw minutes off the bench, posting six points in four minutes.

In Cleveland’s 118-100 win over Detroit, Tyrese Proctor turned in another strong showing, finishing with seven points, three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes.

Luke Travers added 3 points in three minutes as Cavaliers closed their pre-season on a positive note. Their first game of the regular season is against the New York Knicks next Thursday, Australian time.

Meanwhile, both Duop Reath and Matisse Thybulle did not play (Coach’s Decision) in Portland’s 118-111 loss to Golden State.
