Former Illawarra Hawks bigman Lachlan Olbrich is a in a "Golden State", showcasing his growing game for the Warriors in the NBA Summer League California Classic this week.

Olbrich, 22, was a two-way player for the Windy City Bulls and Chicago Bulls last season but signed with the Warriors for the 2026 Summer League. The Las Vegas tournament starts on Friday.

Lachlan Olbrich (Golden State Warriors): Olbrich continued his impressive Summer League form with an ultra-efficient performance in Golden State's dominant 98-69 win against San Antonio. Coming off the bench, the Australian forward scored 13 points on 6-from-8 shooting, including 1-from-1 from three, while adding four rebounds, four assists and no turnovers in just 15 minutes. He finished with a +17 plus/minus as the Warriors Gold improved to 2-0.

William Hickey (Los Angeles Lakers): Hickey didn't score but still made a positive impact in the Lakers' 93-91 double-overtime Summer League win against Miami. The Australian guard started and played 20 minutes, finishing with seven assists, three rebounds, two steals and one block, despite shooting 0-from-6 from the field. His playmaking was a standout, sharing the game-high for assists while helping the Lakers improve to 1-1.

Luke Travers (Milwaukee Bucks): Travers filled the stat sheet in Milwaukee's 97-83 Summer League win against Golden State Blue, finishing with four points, seven rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes off the bench. He shot 2-from-7 from the field and posted a game-best +22 plus/minus, highlighting his impact beyond the box score.

Malique Lewis (Milwaukee Bucks): Former NBL Next Star Malique Lewis started and contributed five points, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes. Lewis shot 2-from-4 from the field as the Bucks improved to 1-1.

Kuany Kuany (Milwaukee Bucks): Kuany did not play, receiving a coach's decision (DNP-CD).

Anthony Dell'Orso (Sacramento Kings): Dell'Orso did not see the court in Sacramento's 79-76 Summer League victory against Brooklyn, receiving a coach's decision (DNP-CD) as the Kings improved to 2-0.

What is the California Summer League Classic?

The California Classic Summer League is the NBA's pre-Summer League tournament held immediately before the main NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas.

It serves as an early opportunity for teams to evaluate rookies, second-year players, G League talent and training camp hopefuls.
