Five-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton has met his idol Allen Iverson at 2026 HoopsFest in Perth in a moment where the Sixers stars exchanged jerseys.
Iverson, who won the NBA MVP award in 2001 playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, said earlier in the week he looked forward to "chopping it up" with Cotton.
Adelaide head coach Mike Wells gave Iverson a 36ers jersey with the No3 while Iverson gave Cotton a 76ers signed jersey.
The pair posed for photos after a hug.
The league-leading Adelaide 36ers face South East Melbourne Phoenix, without Nathan Sobey, this afternoon.
Sobey is out because of illness.
Iverson is in Perth as a Hoopfest Ambassador.
