Highlights

Three rounds of form are in. Brisbane climb, the Phoenix slide and Darius Days drops out

  • Kendric Davis stays No.1 and Parker Jackson-Cartwright climbs to No.2 on form.
  • Nate Hinton is the biggest riser, up nine places to No.8.
  • Darius Days is out after leaving Illawarra, so the list is now 25.

Three rounds in, the numbers have had their say on the NBL27 import class.

Kendric Davis ($436,000) is still No.1. The Sydney Kings star is averaging 27.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists, and the Grand Final MVP has not given anyone a reason to move him.

Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200) is the big mover at the top. The Breakers point guard climbs one spot to No.2 on the best SuperCoach average of any import, 50.0, and a $30,000 price rise. Cole Anthony ($300,000) slips to No.3, on only two games.

Brisbane's imports are the big climbers. Arnas Velicka ($277,000) is up three to No.5 on 10 assists a game, and Nate Hinton ($277,000) is up nine to No.8, the biggest jump on the list.

Adelaide big man Nick Rakocevic ($188,400) is the price story. He has added $40,600, more than any other import, and climbs seven places to No.15. At the other end, D'Shawn Schwartz ($277,000) drops eight spots and Yannis Morin ($277,000) has shed $38,600.

The list is now 25. Darius Days is out after Illawarra confirmed on September 24 that he had left the club after one game.

This is the pre-season Top Imports Ranking, counting down from 25 to 1.

How this ranking was made
Each player’s new spot is half his place in our pre-season ranking of 15 September and half his form over the first three rounds. Form is his SuperCoach average (60 per cent), his SuperCoach total (20 per cent) and the movement in his SuperCoach price (20 per cent), so the full box score counts through SuperCoach scoring. Kendric Davis stays at No. 1.
Tap any column heading to sort; tap Player to go back to the ranking.
Was is the player’s place in the pre-season ranking and Move is how far he has gone up or down. A current price in green has risen since the start of the season and one in red has fallen.
Brandon Knight and Josiah-Jordan James have not played yet, so they hold their pre-season places rather than drop for games they have not been available for. Darius Days is no longer listed: Illawarra announced on 24 September that he had left the club after one game.
Box-score figures are per game across Rounds 1 to 3, from the NBL’s own match statistics. Cole Anthony, Josh Oduro, David Johnson, Dakota Mathias and John Jenkins have played two games, so their averages rest on fewer games than the rest.
