Sophomore guard Hannah Wickstrom recorded 26 points and nine rebounds in 38 minutes as UC Riverside defeated UC Santa Barbara 58–53 in the Big West Championship First Round on March 12, 2026 (AEDT). Wickstrom shot 8–16 from the field and hit two three-pointers while also adding six steals as UC Riverside advanced in a defensive contest. Sophomore forward Olivia Bradley led UC Santa Barbara with 23 points and five rebounds on 7–12 shooting and a perfect 8–8 from the free throw line.
