Isaac White and Rockingham surge, with East Perth separating as the NBL1 West men’s ladder starts to split after Round 4.
Eastern Suns, Geraldton and Willetton are all unbeaten.
On record, they’re level. On output, they’re not.
Eastern Suns have done it across four games. Geraldton is 3–0. Willetton is 4–0 but with tighter margins.
Right now, it’s three perfect records — but not three clear leaders.
Rockingham makes the biggest move
Rockingham moved to 3–1, but more importantly, did it with the most complete performance of the round.

They shot 55.6% from the field and 70.9% inside the arc, generating consistent high-percentage looks.

The depth showed. Ryan Godfrey scored 18 on efficient shooting, and Blake Jones added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Rockingham finished with 25 assists, moving the ball and controlling tempo throughout.
This wasn’t just a win — it was a performance that strengthens their position just below the top group.
East Perth takes a key result
East Perth stayed in the top tier with a win over Joondalup, separating the 3–1 group.

Joondalup had scoring through Sharif Black (30 points), but shot 35.2% and couldn’t close the gap.
In a top-tier matchup, East Perth handled the game when it mattered.
The next tier is forming
Joondalup drops to 3–1 but remains in the mix.
Rockingham and East Perth now sit just behind the unbeaten teams, with stronger percentage and more complete performances.
Middle group still unsettled
Perth Redbacks (2–2) remain inconsistent.
Lakeside (2–4) has had more opportunities than most but hasn’t converted enough.
There’s still movement available — but the gap above is starting to grow.
Bottom group already chasing
Multiple teams sit at 1–3 or worse.
Mandurah is 0–5 and still searching for its first win.
At this point, teams aren’t just trying to climb – they’re trying to stabilise.
