Jaylin Williams completes Weaver's Brisbane rebuild

Auburn's all-time games leader Jaylin Williams has signed with the Brisbane Bullets as their third and final import for NBL27, five seasons after arriving as a freshman who played seven minutes a game.
Williams, who turned 26 on July 26, scored 2.4 points a game that year.
The left-handed big is now Will Weaver's final signing to complete the Bullets full-time roster.
Williams left Auburn with 141 games behind him, more than anyone in the school's history, including NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, an SEC Tournament title and All-SEC Second Team honours, averaging 12.4 points on 57.4 per cent from the field and 39.5 per cent from three.
The middle was not smooth. After breaking through as a sophomore at 10.9 points in 26.5 minutes, his third season fell away to 5.6 points in 13.9 minutes. He rebuilt from there, and the last two years were the best of his career on both volume and efficiency.
Bullets head coach and president of basketball operations Will Weaver called him the perfect final piece.
"He is at the early stages of what will be a very exciting career, and we believe he has the ability to continue improving and showcase that during his time with us," Weaver said.
"Jaylin is someone who will work really well with the roster we've built for the season.
"His combination of size, athleticism and basketball IQ make him a valuable addition.
"He's someone who can defend multiple positions, make plays for his teammates and impact the game in a variety of ways."
The 203cm, 111kg left-hander went to the G League with the Grand Rapids Gold, then to the Stockton Kings, where he averaged 13.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and three assists at 36 per cent from beyond the arc last season.
In the Western Conference Finals he scored 20 with six three-pointers.
He is with the Saskatoon Mamba in the Canadian Elite Basketball League, averaging 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.
"I know that the NBL is a fast, physical, competitive league which suits the way I play," Williams said.
Williams completes an import trio alongside guard Nate Hinton and Lithuanian point guard Arnas Velicka.
He arrives at a club that won six games last season and has rebuilt almost entirely around Weaver. Brisbane confirmed Max Mackinnon's return on the same day, and farewelled three-time NBL champion Casey Prather.
