SW Metro 93 def Gold Coast 88 — Watch the Replay
SW Metro secured a hard-fought 93-88 victory against Gold Coast at Carrara Stadium despite an exceptional performance from Gold Coast's Juna Umezawa. Umezawa delivered a scintillating 38-point, 10-rebound double-double on outstanding 76.5% shooting from the field. For SW Metro, Grace Champion led the charge with 29 points including 5-from-10 from three-point range, while Beyonce Bea contributed a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double.
The contest featured 11 lead changes with SW Metro holding the advantage for over 35 minutes. Despite Gold Coast's more efficient shooting (46.2% compared to SW Metro's 50%), SW Metro's superior three-point shooting (38.1% versus Gold Coast's 26.1%) proved decisive. Stephanie Bairstow added 20 points for SW Metro, shooting an efficient 63.6% from the field in the five-point victory.
Southern Districts 88 def Mackay 77 — Watch the Replay
Southern Districts claimed an 88-77 victory over Mackay at Rowland Cowan Stadium behind Nicole Fransson's dominant 34-point, 10-rebound double-double. Fransson was unstoppable, shooting 50% from the field and drawing 11 fouls which resulted in 14-from-19 from the free-throw line. Tiana Mangakahia provided excellent support with 25 points including a remarkable 7-from-12 from beyond the arc.
Mackay's Unique Thompson registered 22 points and 14 rebounds on efficient 66.7% shooting, while Monique Bobongie added 17 points. Despite Mackay's superior field goal percentage (51.5% to Southern Districts' 36.7%), Southern Districts' proficiency from three-point range (40% on 12-from-30 shooting compared to Mackay's dismal 13.3%) and dominance on the offensive glass (22 offensive rebounds to Mackay's 10) proved decisive. Jessica McDowell-White orchestrated the Southern Districts offense masterfully with 11 assists.
Rockhampton 77 def Sunshine Coast 62 — Watch the Replay
Rockhampton secured a comfortable 77-62 win against Sunshine Coast at Maroochydore Stadium, led by Moira Joiner's spectacular 31-point, 11-rebound double-double. Joiner was electric from deep, connecting on 7-from-13 three-pointers while adding six assists and three steals. Chelsey Perry contributed a 17-point, 17-rebound double-double, dominating the glass for Rockhampton.
Rockhampton controlled the boards with a 57-43 rebounding advantage, including 16 offensive rebounds that led to crucial second-chance points. Jessica Boundy led Sunshine Coast with 18 points while Shannon Ryan recorded a 16-point, 15-rebound double-double. Despite shooting a similar percentage from the field (Rockhampton 32.1%, Sunshine Coast 35.3%), Rockhampton's superior three-point shooting (11-from-38 compared to Sunshine Coast's 8-from-24) and free-throw shooting (84.2% versus 60%) helped secure the 15-point victory.

Townsville dominated Northside 98-73 at Townsville StarFM Stadium with an impressive all-round team performance. Samantha Bowman led the way with a 25-point, 15-rebound double-double, shooting an efficient 52.2% from the field while adding five assists and four steals. Chailee Ward contributed 16 points on outstanding 66.7% shooting, including 3-from-5 from three-point range.
Northside's Cierra Walker scored 24 points including 6-from-12 from beyond the arc, while Saskia Gunness added a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double. Townsville's dominance was evident in the paint, outscoring Northside 60-26 inside, while their control of the offensive glass (20 offensive rebounds to Northside's 5) led to a decisive 11-2 advantage in second-chance points. Townsville's balanced attack featured six players scoring in double figures, with Kali Grootenboer and Harriet Carey each adding 15 points.
Mackay 64 def Brisbane 55 — Watch the Replay
Mackay secured a hard-fought 64-55 victory against Brisbane at Auchenflower Stadium, with Monique Bobongie delivering an outstanding all-around performance. The Mackay guard finished with 14 points, nine assists, and five rebounds while shooting a perfect 6-from-6 from the free-throw line. Unique Thompson added 13 points on efficient 54.5 per cent shooting and was a defensive force with four blocks, while Amari Robinson and Emme Shearer each contributed 11 points.
Despite trailing for nearly 38 minutes of the contest, Brisbane stayed competitive throughout, led by Grace Ellis who recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, including six offensive boards. Ashley Arlen added 20 points and nine rebounds for Brisbane, but both teams struggled from beyond the arc, with Brisbane shooting a dismal 14.8 per cent (4-from-27) and Mackay managing just 18.2 per cent (4-from-22). The game featured 10 lead changes and four ties, with Mackay's ability to force 19 Brisbane turnovers proving decisive as they converted them into 14 points.
