Australia has defeated Korea 119-40 at Arena Seremban in Malaysia to continue its hot start to the 2025 FIBA U16 Asia Cup campaign.

What Happened
Australia opened the game with a blistering 13- 0 run and never looked back.
Finishing the opening term with a 38-5 lead, the opening sequence was highlighted by a five-point, seven-rebound and one block quarter from Queensland centre Jemyma Manyok.
It was a blistering start from the Sapphires on both ends,as they got to the basket with ease and then pressed Korea into repeated turnovers and blocked shots.
The rout only continued in the second quarter, as Australia finished with a 52-point halftime lead, thanks to a Sophie Richardson banked three-pointer on the buzzer.

Australia was led by a balanced scoring line-up, with five players scoring in double figures and no player playing more than 22 minutes.
In a repeat of the opener against the Philippines, Australia dominated the boards, with bigs Manyok (13 rebounds) and Matilda Trout (16 rebounds) leading a total dominance on the boards.
The Sapphires now play Chinese Taipei on Wednesday in their third group stage game at 1:30pm (AEST).
