Six Australians shared the court as Oregon State edged Saint Mary’s in a rare NCAAW showcase.

Six Australian women's basketballers faced off in a single game in NCAA college hoops on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (AEDT) in what is becoming a showcase for our elite, emerging athletes.
Lizzy Williamson, Katelyn Field, Kiera Lindemans helped Oregon State beat Saint Mary's Gaels 63-57. The Gaels team includes Emily Foy, Edie Clarke and Amy Kurkowski.

Junior guard Jasmine Fearne, from Cairns, QLD, provided efficient perimeter scoring in Bowling Green’s road loss, playing 23 minutes and finishing with six points on 2-of-4 shooting. Fearne knocked down two triples, added two rebounds, and played within the offence as the Falcons struggled to contain Eastern Michigan late.

Junior guard Riley Burd, from Perth, WA, contributed across multiple areas in Florida International’s emphatic home win, playing 17 minutes and scoring five points on 2-of-6 shooting. Burd knocked down a three, added three rebounds and an assist, and was disruptive defensively with three steals as the Panthers overwhelmed Florida National from the opening tip.

Senior forward Lizzy Williamson, from Adelaide, SA, contributed efficiently in Oregon State’s road win, playing 17 minutes and scoring four points on perfect shooting. Williamson added three rebounds and an assist, providing interior stability as the Beavers controlled the contest late. Freshman guard Katelyn Field, from Melbourne, VIC, saw brief minutes off the bench and made the most of her opportunity, scoring three points in five minutes. Field knocked down a three and stayed composed in limited run. Freshman guard Keira Lindemans, from Melbourne, VIC, logged 16 minutes and provided secondary scoring, finishing with five points and two rebounds. Lindemans added an assist and defended without fouling as Oregon State managed rotations. Junior guard Emily Foy, from Newcastle, NSW, was Saint Mary’s leading scorer in the loss, playing 27 minutes and finishing with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting. Foy attacked downhill, got to the free-throw line consistently, and added four rebounds and two assists while carrying much of the Gaels’ offensive load. Sophomore forward Edie Clarke, from Melbourne, VIC, delivered a physical interior performance for Saint Mary’s, scoring nine points and grabbing six rebounds in 20 minutes. Clarke added a steal and battled on the glass despite foul trouble. Sophomore guard Amy Kurkowski, from Melbourne, VIC, saw six minutes off the bench for Saint Mary’s, recording one rebound and a steal in limited action.
