Who said the Great Barrier Thief couldn't stop Jalen Brunson?

Today, he proved it, as Dyson Daniels led an Atlanta Hawks lockdown of the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden - limiting the Eastern Conference contenders and last year's conference finalists to their lowest score of the season.

Dyson and the Hawks kept the Mike Brown-coached Knicks to under 100 for the first time this season with Daniels holding Brunson to 24 points off 10-from-23 shooting, 1-from-8 from distance and most importantly, only three free-throw attempts.

The victory at the world's most famous arena avenged a tight 128-125 loss to New York at State Farm Arena on December 28, where Brunson had 34 points, sparking comments across social media about the defending Most Improved Player's ability to guard the Knicks point guard.

Daniels' performance helped Atlanta record its 17th win of the season and second straight.

Donovan Mitchell led the scoring for Cleveland with 33 points.

Dyson Daniels was on triple-double watch again as the Atlanta Hawks upset the New York Knicks 111-99 at Madison Square Garden.

NBA BOX SCORE: Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic

Australian point guard Josh Giddey missed his first game since suffering a hamstring strain and is expected to be missing from the Chicago Bulls line-up for at least two weeks. His absence didn't stop the Bulls from recording a 121-114 victory over the Orlando Magic at the United Center.

Matas Buzelis had 21 points to lead the Bulls.

NBA BOX SCORE: Milwaukee Bucks vs Charlotte Hornets

Aussie wing Josh Green was scoreless in his 13 minutes for the Charlotte Hornets in their 122-121 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks but still had a major impact for his team, being a +11 in his playing time.
