Oscar Cluff steadies, while a wave of Australians surge into form across NCAA men’s basketball.

It's been a quieter fortnight for our headline act Oscar Cluff, but the rest of the Australian contingent have picked up the slack with a slew of surging performances.
Jayden Stone rejoins our top 10 rankings after making his return from a broken hand. He hasn't been alone shooting the lights out in January, with guards Will Johnston and Max Mackinnon continuing to break out with their play for Richmond and LSU respectively.

Here's a look at the most recent top performances from our Aussie's NCAA Men's basketball:
Jayden Stone - 20pts, 7reb vs Kentucky
Jayden Stone wasted no time coming back to form for Missouri, the bucket getter going for a season high 20 points against a true powerhouse program in Kentucky.
Will Johnston - 20pts, 6reb, 6ast v Fordham
It's taken a while for Johnston to truly excel in his role for Richmond since his grad year transfer, but it all came together in the last week with three straight 20+ point performances. His most complete game came in a 83-75 win against Fordham, where Johnston coupled his sharpshooting with 6 assists and a healthy 6 of 7 from the free throw line.
Oscar Cluff - 23pts, 7reb vs Penn State
The last month of play has been the (relative) quietest of his phenomenal graduate year, registering three single-digit scoring outputs across his last five games, but the Boilermakers continued their winning ways, now up to 15-1 on the season. Cluff was back to his best after seeing a few more touches against Penn State, going an über-efficient 10-11 from the field for a season high.
Tuburu Naivalurua - 12pts, 8reb, 2ast, 3blk vs Clemson
Naivalurua never sports the gaudiest stat-lines on these lists, but you can be assured his play has been consistently strong enough to make a mention every week due to his consistency and impact across multiple categories. Oakland sit 2nd in the Horizon Conference at 9-9, and the frontcourt play of the big Sydney-sider continues to be a big reason why.
Charles Johnston - 21pts, 8reb vs Chattanooga
Inconsistent scoring volume has seen Charles Johnston slip just outside of my top 10 for now, but it continues to be a breakout season for the big man, and his 21 points and 8 rebounds against Chattanooga was his best scoring performance this season.
Alex Condon - 21pts, 8reb vs Georgia
Condon continues his consistent play for Florida, and as we hit the middle mark of the season, it's worth taking stock of the draft hopefuls current gains on last season. The big man has upped his scoring volume (16.9 points per 40 to 19.1) and efficiency (.557 TS% to .587) from last season, as well as his facilitating (2.2 assists to 3.5), with everything else holding pretty steady. The big caveat is Condon's outside shooting, currently at 5-33 from three point range - he's still got some work to do on the perimeter.
Max Mackinnon - 27pts, 4reb, 4ast vs Vanderbilt
Mackinnon continues to reach new heights at LSU this season with a season high 27 points despite the loss against Vanderbilt on Sunday. Assistant Coach David Patrick spoke to his ever-improving outside shot, and just when I expect a return to the mean, he seems to do one better - he's now up to 43.7% from three on double the volume of attempts (2.8 to 5.6) he let fire for Portland last season.
Dent - 26pts, 4ast, 2reb, 5stl vs Washington State
Dent's point guard play is proving to be a cornerstone for Saint Mary's success at this point in the season. Some games the NSW-floor general acts as more of a distributor (7 and 9 assists against Portland and Seattle), and some days he calls his own number, like his blistering 26 point performance against Washington State, including 6 of 9 from downtown.
Joel Foxwell - 27pts, 7ast vs Pacific (2OT)
Joel Foxwell is hands-down the biggest story of the WCC this season. In this iteration of Foxwell's game of the week, Foxwell did it all in a thrilling double-OT win against Pacific.
