Tyrese Proctor hits career-high 17 points as Cavaliers crush Wizards in NBA Cup group play.

Six Australians are active today in five NBA Cup games including Josh Giddey and Dyson Daniels.

Sydney-born point guard Tyrese Proctor poured in a career high 17 points in just 19 minutes as the Cleveland Cavaliers routed the Washington Wizards by 34 points in NBA Cup group play in Washington, DC.

Proctor, 21, went 5-from-6 from the field, all of which were three-balls, in the 148-114 victory. He made 2-of-3 free throws. He also had two rebounds and three assists.

Australian teammate Luke Travers also logged minutes in the blow-out, scoring four points in nine minutes, chipping in with a couple of boards, two assists, a steal and a block.

It took no time for Australian Dyson Daniels to keep his steals streak alive. He's now had a steal in 61 straight games to tie Doc Rivers. He's 9th all-time in games with at least one steal.

Daniels had seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block but it wasn't enough as Toronto beat Atlanta 109-97 at State Farm Arena.

The Bendigo product struggled from the field though, going 2-from-10 and 1-from-3 from beyond the arc. The Raptors dominated the last quarter 36-20 to earn the 12-point win.

NBA Box Score: Utah Jazz vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Aussie veteran Joe Ingles played nine minutes as the Minnesota Timberwolves dismantled the Utah Jazz 137-97 at the Target Center.

The game was over after the first quarter, which the Timberwolves won 43-15.

It allowed Minnesota to rest their starts with Ingles recording three assists in his late-game minutes. Anthony Edwards had 27 points for the Timberwolves.

NBA Box Score: Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls

Josh Giddey's good form continues despite the Chicago Bulls suffering their second loss of the season, going down 126-110 to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.

Giddey, who has been in All-Star form to start the 2025-26 season, had 16 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds as well as making 2-from-5 from the three-point line in the 16-point away loss.

The defeat takes the Bulls to 6-2.

NBA Box Score: Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies

Another game, another double-figures scoring haul for Aussie big man Jock Landale.

The Boomers enforcer had 11 points and seven rebounds as the previously struggling Memphis Grizzlies easily took care of the Dallas Mavericks 118-104 at the FedExForum.

Landale also had two assists in his 29 minutes as he continues to start with Zach Edey sidelined with injury.

Aussie guard Dante Exum is still out with injury for the Mavericks.

NBA G LEAGUE UPDATE

Iowa Wolves def Cleveland Charge 137-124

Rookie Aussie big man Rocco Zikarsky started his G League season with a bang, scoring 15 points in 19 minutes as the Iowa Wolves beat the Cleveland Charge by 13 points.

Zikarsky also grabbed three rebounds and had two blocks in his Iowa Wolves debut.
