Queenslander Dani Bayes delivered an explosive career-high 31-point masterpiece in Boise State’s 91–77 win against UC Davis in NCAA Women's Division 1 basketball on November 15, 2025 (AEDT).
The senior guard was nearly flawless, drilling seven threes and stuffing the defensive stat sheet in one of the standout games of the early season. The Broncos have now won their 18th straight non conference game.
At Oregon State, Lizzy Williamson anchored the Beavers in a tight 64–59 win over Illinois with 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals, while Lara Somfai continued her strong freshman stretch for Stanford, adding eight points and five boards in a low-scoring road victory over Washington State.
Elsewhere, Jasmine Fearne, Zoe Shanahan, Sienna Grieger, Claire Fraser, Abbey Vallance, and Phoebe Holmes all logged rotation minutes, while Saint Mary’s five-Australian contingent powered a 51–41 win at UC Riverside behind Edie Clarke’s game-changing six-steal performance.
🇦🇺 Baylor 62 UNLV 54
Palm Beach, NSW, junior guard Ella Brow is yet to play for the Baylor Bears this season.
🇦🇺 Bowling Green 55 Marquette 71
Bowling Green junior guard Jasmine Fearne logged nine minutes in the Falcons’ 71–55 loss at Marquette on November 15. She went 0-for-1 from the field (0-1 3PT) and finished with a rebound and a turnover.
🇦🇺 Oregon State 64 Illinois 59
Senior forward Lizzy Williamson delivered one of Oregon State’s most important efforts in a tight 64–59 win over Illinois on November 15. Playing 21 minutes, she finished with 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals, shooting 5-from-9 from the field. Williamson’s interior finishing and defensive activity were key stabilisers in a game where the Beavers needed frontcourt consistency to close out a high-pressure fourth quarter. Her ability to score efficiently around the rim and disrupt Illinois with timely steals helped OSU maintain control late. Freshman Keira Lindemans didn't play for the Beavers.

🇦🇺 Pepperdine 56 Utah Valley 85

The Melbourne forward went 2-from-3 from the field, showing touch around the rim, but also committed three turnovers as the Waves struggled against UVU’s defensive pressure. Though limited to spot minutes, Shanahan’s ability to find quick offense continues to be a positive early-season sign for Pepperdine’s bench unit.

Five Australians featured in this matchup, with Saint Mary’s trio Edie Clarke, Amy Kurkowski, and Emily Foy contributing to the Gaels’ 10-point road win, while Hannah Wickstrom and Makayla Minshall saw action off the UC Riverside bench. Edie Clarke (So, SMC) delivered a strong all-around performance as a starter, finishing with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and a game-high 6 steals in 27 minutes. Her defensive disruption changed momentum repeatedly and was central to Saint Mary’s control of the contest. Amy Kurkowski (So, SMC) added two points and two rebounds in 12 minutes, providing steady wing minutes off the bench. Emily Foy (Jr, SMC) chipped in two points and three rebounds across 14 minutes, offering reliable depth in the frontcourt rotation. For UC Riverside, Hannah Wickstrom (So) logged 12 minutes, scoring two points and grabbing four rebounds while Makayla Minshall (So) played 12 minutes as well, finishing with one rebound, and a turnover
🇦🇺 Stanford 54 Washington State 46
Freshman Lara Somfai continued her productive start to college basketball with an energetic two-way performance in Stanford’s road win over Washington State. The Adelaide forward finished with eight points, five rebounds, one assist, a steal, and a block across 19 minutes, showing her growing impact as a versatile frontcourt contributor. Somfai struggled from long range (0–5 3PT) and shot 4–from-12 overall, but her defensive activity and presence on the glass were important in a low-scoring, grind-out Pac-12 style battle. Her ability to influence possessions even on an inefficient shooting night reflects an increasingly mature early-season role in Stanford’s rotation.

🇦🇺 Santa Clara 76 Wyoming 45
Freshman Sienna Grieger made an efficient impact in limited minutes during Santa Clara’s dominant win over Wyoming, scoring four points in five minutes. The Adelaide guard went 2-from-3 from the field, flashing quick scoring punch off the bench in a game the Broncos controlled wire to wire. Though she didn’t record rebounds, assists, or defensive stats, Grieger’s ability to convert immediately upon entering continues to highlight her value as an offensive spark in the backcourt rotation.

The forward scored eight points on efficient shooting (3–6 FG, 2–3 3PT) while adding four rebounds and one steal across 20 minutes. Fraser provided important spacing with her perimeter shooting and contributed on the glass, but also committed three turnovers in a tightly contested game where every possession mattered.

🇦🇺 St. Thomas 41 Eastern Michigan 52
Sophomore guard Abbey Vallance logged 22 minutes in St. Thomas’ home loss to Eastern Michigan, finishing with 2 points, 1 assist, and 1 turnover. The Sydney native shot 1-for-4 from the field, including 0–1 from deep, and did not record a rebound or defensive stat in a game where the Tommies struggled to generate consistent offense. Vallance provided steady minutes in the backcourt and created one scoring opportunity for a teammate, but found limited space to attack against EMU’s pressure. Her defensive effort held steady, but the Tommies ultimately couldn’t find enough scoring to stay close in the second half.

The Mackay guard did not attempt a shot and recorded zero turnovers, providing brief rotation coverage in the backcourt during the opening half.
Maine 77 🇦🇺 VCU 81
Victorian sophomore forward Isabel Whitelaw didn't play for VCU today.
🇦🇺 Boise State 91 UC Davis 77
Senior guard Dani Bayes delivered one of the biggest Australian performances of the early NCAA season, exploding for a career-high 31 points in Boise State’s win over UC Davis. The Brisbane star was nearly unstoppable, shooting 11–from-13 from the field, including 7–from-9 from three, and adding four rebounds, two assists, and five steals in 34 high-impact minutes. Bayes’ three-point barrage repeatedly broke UC Davis’ defensive coverage, and her activity in the passing lanes created extra possessions that swung momentum firmly in the Broncos’ favour. It was a dominant, veteran display from Boise State’s leading scorer and a clear statement outing as she continues a strong senior campaign.
