Dyson Daniels put together a double-double as the Atlanta Hawks won their fifth straight game

Atlanta Hawks coach Quin Snyder has praised Aussie Dyson Daniels for changing the game with his defence on two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo as his team recorded their fifth straight victory with a 131-113 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.

Daniels limited the Bucks star's impact despite the 'Greek Freak' still having 24 points on 15 shots with his impact allowing the Hawks to fight back from a 38-25 first quarter to earn an 18-point win.

"It's hard to come up with superlatives for him defensively," Snyder said about Daniels in hist post-game press conference.

"The fact he can guard across different positions and you're not going to stop Giannis but you can, as we said, try to make it hard.

"I thought (Milwaukee) played so well in the first quarter and I was really pleased and the guys deserve a lot of credit for raising their level.

"Milwaukee came out, not just shooting it, but they were active and they played hard... It's a good win for us."

Daniels did it on both ends of the floor against the Bucks though, putting together a double-double of 14 points along with 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. The Boomers backcourt star did not grab a steal though.

The win helps the new-look Hawks stay with the rampaging Charlotte Hornets, who won their sixth straight game.
