Six blocks in 16 mins: Ezi's Storm smash LA

Aussie star Ezi Magbegor has once again showed her credentials for the WNBA's Defensive Player of the Year after blocking six shots in just 16 minutes as the Seattle Storm demolished the LA Sparks 98-67 at Crypto.com Arena.
The Storm established control early, leading 26-19 at the end of the first quarter. Seattle maintained consistent offensive pressure throughout the opening period, with Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams making key baskets to build an early advantage.
Seattle's defence tightened in the second quarter, holding the Sparks to just 18 points while adding 21 of their own. With 1:26 remaining in the half, Alysha Clark connected on a three-pointer to extend the Storm's lead to 45-37, and Seattle took a comfortable 47-37 advantage into halftime.
The third quarter proved decisive as Seattle completely dominated, outscoring Los Angeles 28-14. The Storm's efficient offense was on full display, highlighted by Erica Wheeler's three-pointer at 6:09 that pushed the lead to 31 points. Seattle shot an outstanding 52 percent from the field compared to the Sparks' dismal 33 percent.
With 4:38 left in the fourth quarter, Storm's rookie Dominique Malonga extended the lead to 87-55 with a layup, effectively putting the game out of reach. Zia Cooke's three-pointer with 2:58 remaining sealed the deal as Seattle cruised to a 31-point victory.
The Storm's balanced attack featured five players scoring in double figures, with exceptional ball movement resulting in 29 assists on 39 made baskets. Seattle also dominated from beyond the arc, connecting on 13 three-pointers to Los Angeles' six.
Magbegor didn't have a big scoring game, only making one field goal for two points, but did have five assists for the Storm.
