NBA Box Score: Memphis Grizzlies 111 Orlando Magic 118 (Berlin)
Orlando overturned a fast-starting Memphis outfit to claim the NBA Berlin Game, outscoring the Grizzlies across the final three quarters after conceding 39 points in the opening term. The Magic’s balance, depth, and late-game execution proved decisive as Memphis’ offence stalled after halftime.
For Memphis, Australian Jock Landale started at centre and delivered a steady interior shift. Landale logged 30 minutes, finishing with 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block, spacing the floor with a made three and competing physically on the glass.
The Grizzlies were led offensively by Jaren Jackson Jr.’s 30 points, but the team struggled to maintain shot quality after quarter time, managing just 44 points across the middle two periods combined. Turnovers and missed rotations allowed Orlando to flip momentum before closing the game with composure.
Orlando’s starters controlled the contest. Paolo Banchero anchored the win with 26 points and 13 rebounds, supported by strong two-way nights from Anthony Black and Franz Wagner as the Magic won the rebounding battle 54–37 and shot 91% from the free-throw line.
For Memphis, the loss highlighted ongoing offensive inconsistency, but Landale’s reliable screen-setting, defensive positioning, and willingness to stretch the floor continued to underline his role value within the Grizzlies’ rotation on an international stage.
NBA Box Score: Atlanta Hawks 101 Portland Trail Blazers 117
Portland pulled away late to hand Atlanta a 16-point road loss, winning three of the four quarters and closing the game with a dominant 29–14 fourth period. After the teams traded momentum through the middle quarters, the Blazers’ depth and defensive pressure overwhelmed the Hawks down the stretch.
Australian centre Duop Reath provided efficient minutes off the bench as Portland pulled away from Atlanta late, making a compact impact in limited floor time. Reath played 13 minutes, scoring 8 points on 3-of-7 shooting, including 2-of-6 from three, and added 3 rebounds and 1 block, finishing +20. His value came through floor spacing from the five, quick decision-making, and vertical rim protection, helping Portland maintain pace and lineup balance during the middle quarters as the Blazers built separation.
For Atlanta, Dyson Daniels started at guard and produced a composed, low-usage night in a difficult offensive environment. Daniels logged 33 minutes, finishing with 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 turnover.
The Hawks were paced by Onyeka Okongwu’s 26 points and 9 rebounds, while Jalen Johnson added 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists, but Atlanta shot just 32% from three and was outworked on the glass (54–40). Turnovers and missed perimeter rotations compounded the damage in the final quarter.
Portland’s balance told. Shaedon Sharpe led all scorers with 24 points, while contributions off the bench swung the game decisively as the Blazers won the second-unit minutes and finished with a +16 rebound margin. The result pushed Portland to 20–22, while Atlanta slipped after failing to sustain its third-quarter momentum.
NBA Box Score: Los Angeles Lakers 117 Charlotte Hornets 135
Charlotte overwhelmed the Lakers with sustained offensive pressure, exploding for 40 points in the third quarter and finishing the night shooting 54% from the field and 47% from three. The Hornets won three of the four quarters and controlled the game with pace, spacing, and depth.
Off the bench, Josh Green did not score but made a tangible impact in other areas. In 14 minutes, Green finished scoreless (0-of-2 FG), but contributed 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, posting a strong +14 plus/minus. His value came defensively and in transition support, helping Charlotte maintain intensity and defensive integrity during second-unit minutes.
Charlotte’s starters carried the scoring load. LaMelo Ball led with 30 points and 11 assists, Brandon Miller added 26, and Miles Bridges chipped in 25 as the Hornets consistently punished defensive breakdowns and won the rebounding battle 50–35.
For the Lakers, Luka Dončić poured in 39 points and LeBron James added 29, but Los Angeles struggled to contain Charlotte’s perimeter shooting and transition offence, particularly during the decisive third-quarter run that swung the game permanently in the visitors’ favour.
