"Shot Machar': Malith shoots 56% in 19-point win

Sandringham 106 @ Ballarat 87
Malith Machar detonated for 24 points on outstanding 56% shooting as the Sandringham Sabres defeated Ballarat Miners 106-87 at Southern Basketball Stadium. Machar was dominant from beyond the arc, connecting on 6-from-9 triples while adding eight rebounds in a stellar all-round performance.
Sandringham displayed tremendous balance with Tom Koppens and Dash Daniels adding 19 points each, while veteran David Barlow contributed seven points, six assists and five rebounds. The Sabres shot a devastating 52% from three-point range and dominated the glass with a commanding 54-38 rebounding advantage. Luke Rosendale led Ballarat with 26 points in defeat.
Knox 89 @ Dandenong 72
Keli Leaupepe delivered 23 points and six rebounds as the Knox Raiders overwhelmed the Dandenong Rangers 89-72 at Dandenong Basketball Stadium. Sunday Dech added 19 points on efficient 67% shooting with six rebounds, while Tad Dufelmeier orchestrated the offense with seven assists and 11 rebounds.
The Raiders seized control with a 14-point scoring run and never looked back, shooting a solid 48% from the field while holding Dandenong to just 35%. Bryton Hobbs led the Rangers with 16 points and five assists, while Ruot Monyyong contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks in defeat. Knox's dominance inside was evident with a 44-22 advantage in points in the paint.
Melbourne 100 @ Bendigo 78
Jack Purchase delivered a masterclass with 35 points on exceptional 59% shooting as Melbourne Tigers dismantled Bendigo Braves 100-78 at Red Energy Arena. Purchase was unconscious from the field, hitting 6-from-12 three-pointers and 7-from-10 from inside the arc while adding seven rebounds.
Thomas Wilson provided ample support with 24 points and Mason Gaze added 15 points as Melbourne shot a blistering 52% from the floor. The Tigers dominated from the opening tip, building a 27-point lead while Justin Johnson led Bendigo with 17 points. Melbourne's lights-out shooting from deep (42% on 13-from-31) proved too much for the home side to overcome.
Nunawading 95 @ Ringwood 94
Brian Mack II recorded a monster double-double with 21 points and 18 rebounds as Nunawading Spectres edged Ringwood Hawks 95-94 in a thriller at Nunawading Basketball Centre. Joe Mutimer added 18 points while Cameron Cranston contributed 17 in a balanced Spectres attack.
Lachlan Barker led all scorers with 28 points on sensational shooting for Ringwood, connecting on 6-from-11 from deep, while Tanner Krebs added 20 points and six rebounds. The lead changed hands 11 times in this nail-biter, with Nunawading prevailing despite trailing for over 35 minutes. The Spectres converted 15-from-18 from the charity stripe (83%) in a contest decided by the smallest of margins.
Casey 92 @ Frankston 83
Tyler Robertson scored 22 points and dished out three assists as the Casey Cavaliers defeated the Frankston Blues 92-83 at Dreamstreet Lending Arena. Nate Roberts dominated the interior with 21 points on exceptional 83% shooting and grabbed 16 rebounds, while Hunter Marks added 19 points and six boards.
Michael Harris delivered a spectacular 35-point performance in defeat for Frankston, connecting on 7-from-18 three-pointers, while Igor Hadziomerovic contributed 18 points. Casey controlled the glass with a 48-37 rebounding advantage, led by Roberts' dominance in the paint, and never trailed in a comprehensive victory that solidifies their position in the standings.
Eltham 90 @ NW Tasmania 89
Gabe Hadley scored 24 points as Eltham Wildcats secured a thrilling 90-89 victory against North West Tasmania at Mazda BT-50 Thunder Stadium. Xavier Bledson added 19 points and seven rebounds, while Joshua Sykes delivered 14 points on 67% shooting with four boards and two steals.
Lachlan Barker was outstanding for NW Tasmania with 28 points on exceptional shooting (6-from-11 from three), while Tyler Harris recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. The lead changed a staggering 26 times in this back-and-forth battle, with Eltham's stellar 87% free-throw shooting (20-from-23) proving decisive in the one-point victory.
Kilsyth 104 @ Diamond Valley 88
Dillon Stith delivered 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Kilsyth Cobras defeated Diamond Valley Eagles 104-88 at Diamond Valley Sports & Fitness Centre. Khadim Sy added 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Ben Ursich was perfect from beyond the arc (4-from-4) en route to 14 points.
Jock Perry led Diamond Valley with 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Ngor Manyang and Adam Thoseby each added 16 points. Kilsyth's offensive efficiency was the difference, shooting a sizzling 56% from the field and 52% from three-point range. The Cobras took control in the third quarter and gradually built their lead to as many as 21 points to secure the comfortable road victory.
Keilor 75 @ Waverley 70
Deng Dut scored 23 points as the Keilor Thunder narrowly defeated the Waverley Falcons 75-70 at Keilor Stadium. Daniel Foster recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Dante Thompson added 10 points in a defensive-minded contest.
Mason Forbes was exceptional in defeat for Waverley, posting 20 points and 14 rebounds on 62% shooting. Khalil Shabazz contributed 17 points and seven steals in a tremendous defensive effort. The game featured 13 lead changes, but Keilor's interior defense was the difference, recording eight blocks and holding Waverley to just 15% shooting from behind the arc in a gritty triumph.
