Waverley vs Casey

Waverley dominated Casey 83-60 at Waverley Basketball Centre, led by Rebecca Cole's stellar 20-point performance on 8-from-16 shooting. The home team shot an efficient 41.2 percent from the field while limiting Casey to a dismal 30.8 percent shooting night.

The victory featured a balanced Waverley attack with five players scoring in double figures. Amelia Todhunter contributed 14 points including 8-from-9 from the charity stripe, while Renae Mokrzycki added 13 points on a blistering 6-from-8 shooting from the field. Casey's Asha Nightingale led all scorers with 21 points in defeat, but Waverley's 53-44 rebounding advantage proved decisive in securing the comfortable 23-point win.

Ballarat vs Diamond Valley

Diamond Valley secured an impressive 86-71 victory against Ballarat at Selkirk Stadium behind Tayha Watkins' explosive 25-point performance. Watkins shot an outstanding 9-from-16 from the field while adding six rebounds as Diamond Valley pulled away in the second half.

Lara McSpadden added 17 points and nine rebounds for Diamond Valley, who capitalized on Ballarat's 18 turnovers by converting them into 19 points. Despite Laura Taylor's impressive double-double (14 points, 17 rebounds) and Opal Bird's 17 points for Ballarat, Diamond Valley's superior shooting (43.9 percent to 37.1 percent) and dominance inside the paint (32-28 points) proved the difference in this crucial round six matchup.

Frankston vs Melbourne

Melbourne edged Frankston 68-62 at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre in a tightly contested battle featuring 21 lead changes. Sienna Harvey led Melbourne with a dominant 23-point performance, including 3-from-5 from downtown and 6-from-17 on two-pointers.

Eve Braslis added 20 points on efficient 9-from-17 shooting, most coming in the paint where Melbourne outscored Frankston 36-28. For the visitors, the tandem of Louise Brown and Jacqui Trotto each scored 18 points, with Brown securing a double-double by adding 16 rebounds. Melbourne's defense forced 13 Frankston turnovers and converted them into 10 points, helping secure the hard-fought six-point victory.

Geelong vs Dandenong

Geelong (5-1) dominated Dandenong (3-3) 95-66 at The Geelong Arena behind Jaz Shelley's stellar 26-point performance. The Supercats shot an impressive 47.9% from the field, including a sizzling 46.2% from three-point range, while Gemma Potter contributed 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Hannah Hank recorded an exceptional double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Geelong, who led for nearly 40 minutes of game time. Dandenong struggled mightily from beyond the arc, shooting just 9.1% (1-from-11), with Dallas Loughridge leading the Rangers with 16 points, going a perfect 12-from-12 from the free-throw line. The victory consolidates Geelong's position near the top of the NBL1 South standings.

Eltham vs Kilsyth

Kilsyth (4-2) secured an 84-73 home victory against Eltham (2-4) at Kilsyth Sports Centre behind Nikita Young's outstanding 28-point performance. Young was on fire from three-point range, hitting 6-from-10 while adding six rebounds as the Cobras controlled most of the contest.

Anamaria Virjoghe contributed an efficient 22 points on 10-from-14 shooting for Kilsyth, who dominated inside with a 36-26 advantage in points in the paint. Eltham's effort was led by Rebecca Pizzey (15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks) and Kennedy Dickie (15 points, 8 rebounds), but the visitors were hampered by 18 turnovers compared to Kilsyth's nine, resulting in the Cobras' substantial advantage in points off turnovers (8-4).

Knox vs Keilor

Knox (4-2) secured a convincing 85-58 victory against Keilor (3-3) at State Basketball Centre behind a balanced offensive attack. Alicia Froling dominated inside with 20 points on 8-from-12 shooting, while Leah Santomaggio provided a spark off the bench with 17 points, including five three-pointers.

Isabelle Bourne delivered a valiant 23-point, 11-rebound double-double for Keilor, but the visitors struggled with their shooting, hitting just 33.3% from the field. Knox's defensive prowess was evident with 10 steals while shooting an efficient 40% from beyond the arc (10-from-25). The Raiders maintained control throughout, holding a lead for over 35 minutes and pushing their advantage to as many as 28 points.

Ballarat vs Melbourne

Melbourne (4-2) cruised to a dominant 82-49 victory over Ballarat (1-5) at Selkirk Stadium behind Sienna Harvey's stellar 21-point performance. Harvey was remarkably efficient, scoring on 7-from-14 from the field and 7-from-10 from the free-throw line, while adding six rebounds in just 21 minutes of action.

Eve Braslis contributed 18 points on 8-from-18 shooting for Melbourne, who dominated inside with a 42-14 advantage in points in the paint. Ballarat struggled mightily with their shooting, connecting on just 24.6% of their field goal attempts, despite Julia Gladkova's 18-point effort. The Rush committed 19 turnovers that Melbourne converted into 8 points, helping build their lead to as many as 33 points.

Casey vs Mt Gambier

Mt Gambier (3-3) secured an impressive 79-54 victory over Casey (2-4) at Casey Stadium behind Haliegh Reinoehl's dominant 33-point, 13-rebound double-double. Reinoehl was outstanding, shooting 11-from-17 from the field (64.7%) and 8-from-10 from the free-throw line, while also adding a block.

Isabella Brancatisano recorded her own double-double with 20 points and 18 rebounds for the Pioneers, who dominated the glass 54-39. Casey was led by Sabrina Haines' 16 points and 7 rebounds, but the Cavaliers struggled from the field, shooting just 28.6% overall. Mt Gambier's lead ballooned to 27 points as they maintained control throughout the second half.

Launceston vs Nunawading

Nunawading (5-1) secured a hard-fought 78-69 road victory against Launceston (1-5) at Elphin Sports Stadium. Rachel Antoniadou led the Spectres with 16 points, while Isabel Feller added 15 points on efficient 6-from-9 shooting, including 2-from-4 from three-point range.

Sarah O'Neill delivered a standout performance for Launceston with 22 points, going 7-from-12 from the field, while Taya Webb contributed 19 points, including 5-from-9 from beyond the arc. Nunawading's inside presence was the difference, with the Spectres outscoring the Tornadoes 48-28 in the paint and securing a 45-33 rebounding advantage, led by Laina Snyder's double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds).

Bendigo vs Ringwood

Ringwood (5-1) dominated Bendigo (1-5) 81-59 at Red Energy Arena behind Sarah Elsworthy's exceptional 28-point performance. Elsworthy was remarkable in her efficiency, shooting a perfect 4-from-4 from three-point range and 6-from-10 on two-pointers, while adding nine rebounds and five assists.

Camille Hobby recorded a commanding double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds for Ringwood, who shot 45.8% from beyond the arc (11-from-24). Bendigo was led by Mikayla Pivec's 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists, but struggled as a team from three-point territory, hitting just 18.5% of their attempts. Ringwood controlled the glass (51-38) and led by as many as 22 points.

Sandringham vs Waverley

Waverley (5-1) secured an 88-79 victory over Sandringham (2-4) at Southern Basketball Stadium in a contest that featured 11 lead changes. Carley Ernst delivered a stellar double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, including 4-from-9 from three-point range, while adding three steals.

Katelyn Shumate contributed an efficient 16 points on 6-from-9 shooting and nine rebounds for Waverley, who connected on 44.4% of their three-point attempts (12-from-27). Sandringham's Funda Nakkasoglu led all scorers with 22 points, including 5-from-5 from the free-throw line, but the Sabres' 18 turnovers proved costly as Waverley converted them into 10 points. The Falcons' lead grew to as many as 14 points as they secured their fifth win of the season.
