Braggadocious NBL media man Damon Lowery – last season’s Beat the Coach – has revealed his SuperCoach NBL Classic team ahead of Round 1’s lockout.
And it already needs to change.
Lowery, an NBL champion with the Illawarra Hawks in 2001, needs to punt Josiah-Jordan James ($277,000), who has been ruled out for at least six weeks with a hamstring injury. Triple-J was his starting forward.
Four of his starting five play double-headers in Round 1, as do two bench players. Lowery is clearly looking for a fast start in total points.

Rosen’s squad also needs a bit of surgery, with Adelaide 36ers wing Matt Kenyon ($69,000) dealing with a concussion. He’s stacked his bench with double-header Cheapies and potential cash cows Angus Glover ($191,700) and NBL Next Star Dash Daniels ($115,000).
Rosen has gone with Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200) as captain and clearly read basketball.com.au’s Cash Cow guide to find Arnas Velicka ($277,000).

He’s also gone with South East Melbourne Phoenix point guard Skylar Mays ($277,000) on the double as well.
He’s banking on Anthony Dell'Orso ($100,000) being a solid part of Wildcats’ head coach John Rillie’s guard rotation and the emergence of NBL Next Star Dash Daniels ($115,000)
