SuperCoach NBL: Captain's crown slips off King's head

Torrey Craig topped Round 6 with 88, and Cole Anthony's 87 lifted him to third behind two 36ers.

SuperCoaches who captained Sydney Kings star Kendric Davis ($436,000) were feeling pretty good about themselves (this guy ☝️) when he had the biggest single game of Round 6 – 63 from 23 points and 14 assists with no turnovers – against the Hawks.

The NBL26 Grand Final MVP would absolutely put on a show against NBA gap-year point guard Cole Anthony ($300,000) on Sunday, October 25 in the second of the Kings double? Right? Right?!?

Ah, nope. He added only 14 SC Points against Melbourne, shot 3-for-16 (12 points) to go with five assists and five turnovers to finish with 77 points (154 as captain) in the round.

Anthony, on the other hand flipped the script. He compiled 26 in the 103-102 loss to the Perth Wildcats at RAC Arena on Friday, October 23, then 61 from 30 points, nine assists and two blocks against the Kings, the second-biggest single game of the round. He topped out 87 points. It is his best round of the season, and he climbs from sixth to third overall on 343.

Sydney Kings forward Torrey Craig ($290,400) led all SuperCoach NBL Round 6 scorers with 88 points from the Kings' double.

Craig had 40 on 22 points, six rebounds and three steals in the 108-82 win against the Illawarra Hawks at WIN Entertainment Centre on Thursday, October 22, then 48 from 22 points and 13 rebounds in the 105-95 loss to Melbourne United at John Cain Arena on Sunday. He made 7-from-13 from three across the two games. After 79 from his first four rounds, he has 163 from the last two, and he enters the Top 25 at 16th.

Adelaide 36ers guard Bryce Cotton ($473,900) still leads SuperCoach NBL on 377 after scoring 53 from 37 points and eight assists in the 108-94 loss to the South East Melbourne Phoenix at John Cain Arena on Saturday, October 24. Teammate Nick Rakocevic ($188,400) is second on 350 after posting 46 from 18 points and 17 rebounds in the same game, despite shooting 6-from-18.

SuperCoach points for the fifteen highest scorers of NBL27 Round 6. Read the G column first: Brisbane, Illawarra, Melbourne and Sydney played twice in Round 6, so twelve of these totals cover two games.
How this table is built, and where the numbers come from
SuperCoach points are SuperCoach’s own. The box score beside them is the NBL’s, added up across every Round 6 game the player appeared in, so a player who played twice shows two games’ worth of minutes and shooting as well as two games’ worth of points. Neither figure is worked out from the other: we recalculate every SuperCoach score ourselves from the box score and the table is only built if they all agree, which they do. Price shows each player’s starting SuperCoach price, then his price now, with the change underneath in green for a rise and red for a fall. Prices are as at SuperCoach’s Round 5 update: the Round 6 price change had not been applied when this was checked. The biggest single game of the round was 63, by Kendric Davis. Checked on 26 October 2026, after all seven Round 6 games had finished.

Four Kings made the Top 15. Andrew Carr ($277,000) scored 83, including 47 from 16 points and 20 rebounds against Illawarra, and has 31 rebounds for the round. Kendric Davis ($436,000) had the biggest single game of Round 6, 63 from 23 points and 14 assists with no turnovers against the Hawks, but added only 14 against Melbourne, when he shot 3-from-16. He moves from eighth to fourth overall on 326. Xavier Cooks ($308,000) added 59, with 35 from 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists on 6-from-7 against United. Carr enters the Top 25 at 19th and Cooks at 20th.

Melbourne United also had four in the Top 15. Luke Travers ($292,900) scored 73, including 46 from 26 points and nine rebounds in Perth, and is back in the Top 25 at 13th after dropping out last round. Josh Oduro ($277,000) added 67 from 49 points across the two games and climbs to eighth overall, while Joe Ingles ($300,000) scored 50, 32 of them from 11 points, eight assists and three steals in Perth.

New Zealand Breakers guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200) returned from injury with 41 from 14 points and nine assists in the 86-84 loss to the Cairns Taipans on Sunday, and still has the best average in the Top 25, 51.3 from six games. Jack McVeigh ($349,800) matched him with 41 for Cairns, and Jaylin Galloway ($196,400) scored 29 on his season debut. Breakers big man Sam Mennenga ($303,100) scored 32 and slips from fourth to sixth overall.

Six players are new to the Top 25: Travers, Craig, Carr, Cooks, Mackinnon and Doolittle. Five dropped out: Brisbane's Arnas Velicka ($277,000), who did not play in Round 6, Cairns pair Jonah Bolden ($133,600) and Jaylon Brown ($277,000), and Illawarra's William Hickey ($331,600) and Kelan Martin ($277,000).

The twenty-five highest SuperCoach season totals after six rounds of NBL27. Check the G column before comparing totals: clubs have played different numbers of double-header rounds, so two of these players have had ten games and the rest fewer. Avg is the fairer comparison. Dylan Windler and Skylar Mays tied for 25th, so the table runs to twenty-six.
How this table is built, and where the numbers come from
Totals, round scores and prices are SuperCoach’s own. We also recalculate every score ourselves from the NBL’s box scores, game by game, and the table is only built if the two agree for every player in every round. They do, apart from two late NBL box-score changes that SuperCoach never applied, where the table keeps SuperCoach’s figures: a Round 2 turnover moved from Nick Rakocevic to Matt Kenyon, and a Round 3 assist moved from Parker Jackson-Cartwright to Sam Mennenga. Avg is the season total divided by games played. Price shows each player’s starting SuperCoach price, then his price now, with the change underneath in green for a rise and red for a fall. Prices are as at SuperCoach’s Round 5 update: the Round 6 price change had not been applied when this was checked. Best average in this table: Parker Jackson-Cartwright, 51.3 a game from six games. The biggest single game of the season so far is 65, by Nick Rakocevic. Checked on 26 October 2026, after every game of Rounds 1 to 6 had finished.
