SuperCoach NBL’s most expensive player, with the highest per-game average in NBL27, is a POD.
Breakers star guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200) returned to the New Zealand lineup against Cairns in Round 6 after missing three games. Before his injury, PJC was well and truly in the MVP conversation, with 43% of coaches owning him heading into Round 1 and 25.3% by the end of Round 3.
Good on the about 7.2% of SuperCoaches who kept the stat-stuffing point guard through Rounds 4 to 6. You’ve got the ultimate POD, now owned by just 8.1% of SuperCoaches after two days of trades before lockout on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 9:30pm.
The Breakers have a doubleheader in Round 7, then back-to-back in Rounds 9 and 10, and PJC looked like he hadn’t skipped a beat, compiling 41 points on 14 points and a game-high nine assists.
Sydney Kings import Torrey Craig ($290,400) is in just 5.6% of SuperCoach teams and has averaged 42 points over his last three, while Taran Armstrong ($304,700), who is running the show for the Tasmania JackJumpers, is owned by just 6.8%. The born-and-bred Tasmanian is also averaging 42 over his past three.
Both the Kings and JackJumpers have double-headers in Round 7, and both have 10 of their 12 left, with the back half of the season loaded.
The best SuperCoach NBL Round 7 PODs come from a round in which eight of the 10 clubs play twice. Every one of the 14 players on this week's list gets two games.
The Adelaide 36ers, Brisbane Bullets, Cairns Taipans, Melbourne United, New Zealand Breakers, Perth Wildcats, Sydney Kings and Tasmania JackJumpers each play twice in a round that runs from Wednesday, October 28 to Monday, November 2.
Ownership moves right up to lockout, so check the table before you trade. Round 7 locks at 9.30pm AEDT on Wednesday, October 28, when Perth hosts Sydney at RAC Arena.
Round 6 POD Analysis
Craig was the Round 6 POD that paid off, posting the round's top score of 88 across Sydney's double and rising $45,200 in the price update that followed. Below is how all 14 Round 6 PODs performed, to help you decide ahead of Round 7.
The group scored 490 points across 25 games, 19.6 a game and down from 29.4 a game for the Round 5 PODs. Carr was next best on 83, followed by Joe Ingles ($300,000) on 50 across Melbourne's double and Tyler Harvey ($271,700) on 45 across Illawarra's.
The misses were Kelan Martin ($277,000), with 7 across two games and a $35,900 price fall, William Hickey ($331,600), with 23 across two, and Jaylin Williams ($277,000), with 31 across two.
Both trap calls held. Lamar Patterson ($210,900) played only one of Illawarra's two games and scored 15, and Shea Ili ($175,300) scored 32 across Melbourne's double, below the group's average of 19.6 a game.
Armstrong played only once in Round 6 and scored 29, but he moves into this week's top five with Tasmania playing twice.
