- Every injured NBL player, with expected return dates
- Hammer Time: Who is leading the league in dunks
What is it with Jack McVeigh ($349,800) and SuperCoaches? The Australian Boomers marksman and former Houston Rockets two-way player ranks 14th on the overall leaderboard (311 points) but is owned by just a little more than six per cent of SuperCoaches.
Admittedly, he is somewhat cost-prohibitive but is a POD. Cairns has eight double rounds to go in NBL27, including Round 8.
The best SuperCoach NBL Round 8 PODs come from a round in which only four clubs play twice.
Nine of the 14 players on this week's list play twice, and the five who play once all double in Round 9.
A POD (point of difference) is a player your head-to-head opponent almost certainly does not own, scoring enough to swing the week. All 14 players in the table below were in fewer than 10 per cent of SuperCoach NBL teams when ownership was checked on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The Brisbane Bullets, Cairns Taipans, Illawarra Hawks and Perth Wildcats each play twice in a round that runs from Wednesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 8. SuperCoach NBL counts every game a club plays in the round, so their players get two chances to score, and a captain from one of those clubs has his doubled score built on two games rather than one.
Brisbane and Perth double again in Round 9 and Illawarra in Rounds 9 and 10, so their players carry four games across the next two rounds. Sydney, Tasmania and SE Melbourne play once this week and twice in Round 9.
- Jack McVeigh ($349,800) tops the list in 6.2 per cent of teams, with 41, 30 and 37 in his last three games for a 36.0 average. He is still $29,100 under his starting price after rising $16,200 in the Round 7 update. Cairns hosts Illawarra on Thursday, November 5, and plays at Perth on Sunday, November 8, and he scored 39 and 40 the last time he played them.
- Dylan Windler ($271,100) and Tyrell Harrison ($336,100) are both in the top 6.4 per cent of teams after scoring 70 and 60 in their Round 7 doubles. Dylan Windler ($271,100) scored 46 in his last game, his best of the season, and Tyrell Harrison ($336,100) scored 47 the last time he played Melbourne. Perth play Brisbane on Wednesday, November 4, so the two meet in the opening game of the round.
- Josh Bannan ($317,500), Andrew Carr ($277,000) and Torrey Craig ($290,400) are the premium options, and all three play once. Josh Bannan ($317,500) is in just 1.3 per cent of teams and has averaged 33.7 across his last three, with Tasmania hosting New Zealand on Friday, November 6. Andrew Carr ($277,000) (36, 37 and 19) and Torrey Craig ($290,400) (48, 35 and 14) host SE Melbourne on Sunday, November 8, and Torrey Craig ($290,400) scored 36 against the Phoenix in February.
- Malique Lewis ($207,900), Elijah Pepper ($202,700), Dakota Mathias ($145,200) and Yannis Morin ($277,000) are the mid-price options. Malique Lewis ($207,900) and Elijah Pepper ($202,700) play twice for Cairns and Perth. Dakota Mathias ($145,200) has averaged 34.7 across his last three and rose $42,800 in the Round 7 update, and Yannis Morin ($277,000) has scored 35, 37 and 35 and is in 1.4 per cent of teams.
- Taine Murray ($99,700) and Todd Blanchfield ($123,800) are the cheap options, and both play twice. Taine Murray ($99,700) has played four games and is up $14,800, and Todd Blanchfield ($123,800) scored 28 two games ago and is up $23,900 since Round 1.
- Milton Doyle ($274,700) and Jaylin Williams ($277,000) are flagged as traps despite two games each. Milton Doyle ($274,700) has averaged 16.0 across his last three and fell $20,100 in the Round 7 update, and Jaylin Williams ($277,000) scored 13, 27 and 6 and fell $30,000, the biggest drop of the 14.
Ownership moves right up to lockout, so check the table before you trade. Round 8 starts locking at 7.30pm AEDT on Wednesday, November 4, when Brisbane hosts Perth.
Dakota Mathias ($145,200) was the Round 7 POD that paid off, scoring 75 across Tasmania's double and rising $42,800 in the price update that followed. Below is how all 14 Round 7 PODs performed, to help you decide ahead of Round 8.
The group scored 691 points across 27 games, 25.6 a game and up from 19.6 a game for the Round 6 PODs. Zylan Cheatham ($339,500) was next best on 73, followed by Dylan Windler ($271,100) on 70 and Brandon Knight ($277,000) on 62.
The miss was at the top of the list. Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200) scored 39 across New Zealand's two games and fell $51,500. Lat Mayen ($69,000) played once for 7, and Jacob Rigoni ($69,000) scored 13 across two.
The trap calls split. Dejan Vasiljevic ($144,000) scored 30 across two and fell $2,400, so that call held, but Brandon Knight ($277,000) scored 62 and rose $11,400.
