Losing streak snapped! Tasmania JackJumpers, behind Bryce Hamilton's 22 points on 8-from-17 from the field finally won their six game of the season, dominating the Sydney Kings 104-81 at MyState Bank Arena in Hobart on Sunday, November 23, 2025 in Round 10 of NBL26.

It's been a rough patch for the JackJumpers after starting the season 5-3, entering last night's ball game 5-9. They are now in sixth.

What Happened

The JackJumpers established early control with a solid 27-24 first quarter before exploding in the second period. Tasmania outscored Sydney 33-16 in the second quarter to build a commanding 60-40 halftime advantage. The Kings struggled offensively throughout, managing just 16 points in the second quarter as the JackJumpers pulled away decisively.

Tasmania maintained their dominance in the third quarter, limiting Sydney to 18 points while adding 15 of their own to extend the lead to 75-58 heading into the final period. The fourth quarter saw both teams score 29 and 23 points respectively, with the JackJumpers cruising to the comfortable 23-point victory.

Bryce Hamilton led Tasmania's balanced offensive attack with an efficient 22-point performance, shooting 8-from-17 from the field while contributing six rebounds and six assists. Josh Bannan provided excellent support with 19 points on 6-from-13 shooting, including a perfect 6-from-7 from the charity stripe. Ben Ayre came off the bench to contribute 19 points on outstanding 4-from-6 shooting, connecting on three triples and a perfect 8-from-8 from the free-throw line.

For Sydney, Kendric Davis battled hard with 20 points but struggled with his shooting efficiency, managing just 6-from-19 from the field including a poor 1-from-9 from beyond the arc. Kouat Noi added 18 points off the bench, shooting 6-from-16 from the field and 3-from-9 from downtown. The Kings' offense sputtered throughout, with Xavier Cooks managing just five points and Bul Kuol failing to score in 14 minutes.

Tasmania's superior shooting was the defining factor in the contest. The JackJumpers shot a solid 46.6% from the field (34-from-73) compared to Sydney's dismal 38.0% (27-from-71). From deep, Tasmania connected on 12-from-31 three-pointers while the Kings managed just 8-from-34 from downtown for a poor 23.5%. The home side also dominated at the free-throw line, converting 24-from-30 attempts compared to Sydney's 19-from-21.
