Logan 93 def Northside 84 — Watch the Replay
Callum Dalton dominated with 26 points and 14 rebounds as Logan overcame Northside 93-84 at Northside Indoor Sports Centre. Dalton was outstanding inside, shooting 11-from-17 from the field (64.7 per cent) while controlling the boards. Zac Triplett contributed 20 points and Tane Kirisome added 14 points on efficient 5-from-6 shooting including 3-from-4 from three-point range.
Despite Tyler Williams' spectacular 32-point performance for Northside, including 7-from-14 from three-point range, Logan's interior dominance proved decisive. Logan outscored Northside 48-28 in the paint and shot a solid 52.3 per cent from the field. Durrell Mcdonald added 19 points and nine rebounds for Northside, but Logan led for nearly 40 minutes and secured the road victory with superior shooting and a 46-41 rebounding advantage.
Brisbane 114 def Sunshine Coast 79 — Watch the Replay
Isaih Tueta put on a shooting masterclass with 32 points as Brisbane crushed Sunshine Coast 114-79 at Auchenflower Stadium. Tueta was on fire from long range, connecting on 8-from-11 three-pointers (72.7 per cent) while adding 11 assists for a commanding double-double. Uche Dibiamaka contributed 23 points on efficient 9-from-18 shooting in the dominant victory.
Brisbane controlled every aspect of the contest, shooting an outstanding 59 per cent from the field and dishing out 33 assists while limiting Sunshine Coast to just 37.9 per cent shooting. The home team built a 35-point lead at one stage and led for nearly 40 minutes. Deshawn Ross-Paiwan (21 points) and Earnest Ross (20 points) tried valiantly for Sunshine Coast, but they couldn't overcome Brisbane's balanced attack, which saw six players score in double figures.
Gold Coast 90 def Townsville 76 — Watch the Replay
Jensen Bradtke delivered a dominant double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds as Gold Coast secured a 90-76 win against Townsville at Carrara Stadium. Bradtke shot an efficient 7-from-11 from the field including 3-from-4 from beyond the arc. Reuben Te Rangi added 18 points while Preston Le Gassick recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists for the victors.
Gold Coast's balanced attack saw them shoot 52.3 per cent from the field and 36 per cent from three-point range, while holding Townsville to just 39.2 per cent shooting. Despite Kuany Kuany's 20-point, nine-rebound effort and Ethan Betts' 16 points and eight assists for the visitors, Gold Coast maintained control after 16 lead changes, ultimately pulling away with a decisive 17-point advantage in the second half.
Rockhampton 103 def Ipswich 87 — Watch the Replay
Malcolm Bernard delivered a stellar all-around performance with 31 points and 12 assists as Rockhampton defeated Ipswich 103-87 at Bravus Arena. Bernard was nearly perfect from the field, shooting an exceptional 11-from-14 (78.6 per cent) including 6-from-8 from three-point range. Isaac Ayoubi added 17 points and seven assists while Malok Majak recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Rockhampton's high-powered offense was too much for Ipswich to handle, with the hosts forcing 26 turnovers and converting them into 27 points. Despite Lamar Patterson's 26 points and seven assists for Ipswich, and William Mahoney's efficient 21 points on 9-from-11 shooting, Rockhampton's superior ball movement (27 assists to 14) and three-point shooting (39.3 per cent to 26.1 per cent) proved decisive in the comfortable victory.
SW Metro 88 def Southern Districts 72 — Watch the Replay
Junior Madut scored 20 points and Kai Woodfall added 18 as SW Metro defeated Southern Districts 88-72 at Rowland Cowan Stadium. Madut shot an efficient 8-from-16 from the field, while Woodfall was outstanding from distance, connecting on 4-from-6 three-pointers (66.7 per cent) to help SW Metro pull away in the second half.
Despite Tamuri Wigness' impressive 26-point effort for Southern Districts, SW Metro's three-point shooting proved to be the difference. The hosts knocked down 10-from-30 from beyond the arc (33.3 per cent) while limiting Southern Districts to a dismal 3-from-22 (13.6 per cent). After nine lead changes in a competitive first half, SW Metro steadily built their advantage, leading by as many as 21 points while showcasing balanced scoring with five players reaching double figures.
