Australian forward Anneli Maley moved a step closer to securing a roster spot with the New York Liberty, delivering 13 points and six rebounds in its preseason win against the Connecticut Sun on May 4, 2026 (AEDT).
Maley played 24 minutes, shot 3-from-5 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the 79-67 victory.
The performance came as part of a broader slate of games featuring Australian and WNBL-linked players across the WNBA preseason, including appearances from Georgia Amoore, Isobel Borlase, Alanna Smith, Steph Talbot and Nyadiew Puoch in multiple matchups.
Amoore started her second game back from an ACL injury that ruled her out of the entire 2025 WNBA season.
