Landale's double digit streak reaches six games
In positive signs for the Boomers, Jock Landale's shining brightly for the Memphis Grizzlies

He may be on a Memphis Grizzlies team that can't take a trick at the moment but Jock Landale is getting his job done.
Filling in as the starting centre with regular first-choice big man Zach Edey out with injury, Landale has been impressive after moving from the Houston Rockets. The Boomers enforcer added another game to his streak of consecutive double-digit scoring games but in a better sign, continues to light it up from the three-point line.
The 30-year-old from Melbourne made another two long bombs against the OKC Thunder and is shooting more than 54% for the season.
It's a great sign for Landale and the Boomers with his ability to match it with bigger bodies in the FIBA game but also stretch the floor part of his special repertoire, which has made him so tough to guard in the international game.
While the former Melbourne United star continues to perform for Memphis, Johnny Furphy is still out injured while other Aussies impressed in the G League.
NBA Box Score: Memphis Grizzlies vs OKC Thunder
Jock Landale scored in double figures for the sixth straight game but the Memphis Grizzlies fell to the defending champion, OKC Thunder, 114-100 at FedExForum.
In his starting role, Landale had 10 points in 28 minutes, shooting 4-from-7 from the field and 2-from-5 from beyond the arc. The Boomers big man also had five rebounds and three assists.
MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points for the Thunder.
NBA Box Score: Golden State Warriors vs Indiana Pacers
Aussie Johnny Furphy remains sidelined with a left ankle sprain. but his Indiana Pacers were smashed 114-83 by the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.
Six players scored in double figures for the Warriors, led by Jimmy Butler with 21, as they dismantled the Pacers by 31 points without Stephen Curry.
NBA Box Score: Minnesota Timberwolves vs Sacramento Kings
Aussie veteran Joe Ingles was a DNP Coach's Decision despite Minnesota's 144-117 win over the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center.
Anthony Edwards was the top scorer with 26 points. Rookie Aussie big man Rocco Zikarsky is on assignment with the Timberwolves' G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves.

Capital City GoGo def Long Island Nets 112-105
Former Cairns Taipans big man Akoldah Gak had 12 points off the bench to help the Capital City GoGo to a seven-point win over the Long Island Nets.
Gak went 3-from-5 from the field and 3-from-3 from the free-throw line and also had two rebounds and one block.
Austin Spurs def Birmingham Squadron 110-97
Jacob Chance's coaching tenure at the Austin Spurs has started with a bang with his team going 2-0 to tip-off the season following a 13-point victory over Birmingham.
Chance is a former NBL assistant coach with Melbourne United and Tasmania JackJumpers and has coached the Boomers during FIBA qualifying windows.
South Bay Lakers def Valley Suns 123-113
The South Bay Lakers, who feature former NBL assistant coach Liam Flynn on their coaching staff, took their record to 2-0 to start the season after a 10-point win over the Valley Suns.
Flynn has previously been with the Townsville Crocodiles and Adelaide 36ers.
