Two Australians have featured prominently on college basketball expert Andy Katz's top 10 international players list as the 2025-26 NCAA men's basketball season shapes up as a showcase for talent from around the globe.

Florida's Alex Condon headlines the rankings, sitting at number one after playing a pivotal role in the Gators' national championship campaign.

The big man from down under is expected to be a consistent double-double threat as Florida pursues back-to-back titles, cementing his status as one of the most dominant international prospects in college basketball.

Condon, a West Australian product, averaged 10.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for Florida last season - which included 12 points, seven rebounds and a clutch hustle play to secure the national title against Houston.

The 6'11" versatile Condon has shown he is going to be a force to be reckoned with this coming season after earning preseason first-team All-American honours by Blue Ribbon Yearbook, while the SEC and USA Today also gave Condon all-conference preseason recognition.

Not far behind at number six is Oscar Cluff, who's made the jump from South Dakota State to Purdue.

The Australian forward was a standout performer in the Summit League, posting impressive averages of 17 points and 12 rebounds per game last season.

The Boilermakers are banking on Cluff to provide the front-court muscle needed to complement their elite guard play, with his rebounding prowess and scoring touch set to be crucial for a program with championship aspirations.

Basketball.com.au's Brayden Heslehurst caught up with Cluff's family about the move to Purdue earlier this year.

"(The move) is all about how good the coaching staff are in developing bigs. Oscar sees he still has a long way to go in his development," his dad, Stephen Cluff, said.

The international talent extends well beyond the Australian contingent. Croatian big man Tomislav Ivišić slots in at number two for Illinois, with his countryman and brother, Zvonimir Ivišić, rounding out the top 10 at Illinois as well.
