The Los Angeles Sparks (2-3) defeated the Chicago Sky (0-3) 91-78 at Crypto.com Arena as Kelsey Plum's 28-point performance and Azura Stevens' dominant 24-point outing secured the Sparks' second win of the 2025 WNBA season.
Australian Opals wing Rebecca Allen had 11 points on 4-from-8 from the field including a hot 3-from-5 from three. She added three boards and was +4 in 18 minutes off the bench.
Plum was 6-from-10 from downtown.

The teams exchanged blows throughout the first half, with Los Angeles holding a narrow 21-19 advantage after the first quarter. The Sparks maintained their slim lead in the second period, outscoring Chicago 22-20 to take a 43-39 lead into halftime.
Los Angeles broke the game open in the third quarter, exploding for 33 points while limiting Chicago to 25. The Sparks' offensive surge was fueled by Kelsey Plum, who connected on four three-pointers in the period. By the end of the third, Los Angeles had built a commanding 76-64 lead.

The Sparks controlled the final frame, outscoring the Sky 15-14 to secure the 13-point victory. Azura Stevens was exceptional throughout, finishing with 24 points on an efficient 10-from-14 shooting, including 2-from-4 from beyond the arc. Her eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block showcased her all-round impact.
For Chicago, Angel Reese posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while rookie Kamilla Cardoso added 12 points and six rebounds before fouling out. The Sky struggled with ball control, committing 17 turnovers compared to the Sparks' 11, with Dearica Hamby collecting six steals for Los Angeles.
The difference-maker was three-point shooting, with Los Angeles connecting on 13-from-27 (48.1%) compared to Chicago's dismal 4-from-20 (20%). Plum led the long-range barrage with six triples, while the Sparks' overall balanced attack featured five players scoring nine or more points.
