Charlise Dunn leads Australian NCAAW rankings after overtime classics and statement wins.

There were some thrilling games over the past week, with Aussie women finding themselves in overtime classics, while others scored important and impressive wins against ranked opponents.

With that in mind, let’s dive into the NCAAW power rankings for the week.

AUSTRALIAN NCAAW PLAYER POWER RANKINGS

1. Charlise Dunn (Davidson) – SENIOR

Best Performance – 21 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and two assists in 52 minutes v Richmond

Charlise Dunn was front and centre in an absolute classic between Davidson and Richmond. Unfortunately, the Wildcats fell to the Spiders in triple(!) overtime, 91-84, but Dunn gave her all in a ridiculous 52 minutes played, including hitting two clutch throws that forced overtime.

She continued her strong rebounding form, bringing down 11 boards, while also hitting three triples for 21 points. Over her past four games, Dunn is averaging 11.8 rebounds per game.

Hannah Wickstrom continues to torch defences. In the showdown between two high-scoring Aussies as her UC Riverside squad took on Erin Condron’s UC San Diego, Wickstrom didn’t receive enough help to get the Tritons over the line, despite recording 19 points and 7 rebounds.

She has really taken her game to the next level and a lot of that has to do with great shot selection, leading to impressive shooting efficiency. Over her past five games, Wickstrom is shooting 55.3% from the field on a massive 17 attempts per game.

Three of their past four games have come against ranked opponents and over that span they pushed #6 Michigan to overtime, fell just four points short to #25 Michigan State and overcome a 17-point deficit to defeat #21 USC.

In one of the comebacks of the season, Oregon was tremendous down the stretch, and Jacobs was instrumental in the win, producing a monster block in the paint in the final two minutes with scores level. She finished with 11 points (3/6 3PT FG), 5 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks in the win as Oregon scored the final 14 points of the game to run out five-point winners, 71-66.

6. Tess Heal (Kansas State) SENIOR

Tess Heal has truly found her footing with her new Kansas State squad and is reminding everyone just how dangerous she is.

She played a huge role in Kansas State’s 71-62 win over Houston, delivering a season-high 31 points as she forced her way into the paint and was duly rewarded, hitting 11/12 free throws.

Over the past week in three outings, Heal averaged 24 points on an outstanding 66.7% shooting from the field. After an up and down start to the season, Heal is on fire to start 2026.

7. Hilary Fuller (Belmont) SOPHOMORE

Best Performance – 27 points, nine rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes v Illinois State

Hilary Fuller set a new career-high in scoring against Illinois State, dropping 27 points and 9 rebounds in the 75-68 win.

Her size causes headaches in the paint for smaller opponents as she’s able to back her opponent down and get the shot she wants. After averaging five minutes and two points per game in her freshman season, Fuller is making noise as a sophomore, averaging 13.9 points in 21 minutes per game.

9. Bonnie Deas (Arkansas) FRESHMAN

Best Performance – nine points, eight rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes v Alabama

It’s been a tough stretch for Arkansas, losing five games in a row with three of those losses coming against ranked SEC opponents, all of whom are undefeated in conference play, highlighting just how loaded the conference is.

For Deas, her shot has deserted her in recent weeks, struggling from field against defences that have major athleticism. In true Deas style though, she remains as fierce as ever on the boards and in the hunt for loose balls, and you get the feeling it won’t be long until the tide turns for her shooting.

Somfai recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds in the win, hitting a career-high three triples along the way. She continues to work extremely hard in the paint by making herself an option, and whether she gets the ball or not, she does it all again on the next possession.
