Big West Championship – Semi-final
Australian guard Teyahna Bond played a key bench role as Hawai‘i outlasted UC Irvine in overtime to advance to the Big West Championship Game.
The Rainbow Wahine (22–10) controlled large stretches early, leading by nine at halftime, before Irvine (26–6) surged with an 18–8 fourth quarter to force overtime. Hawai‘i responded with a composed defensive finish, holding the Anteaters to just three points in the extra period.
Bond, a freshman from Australia, logged 22 minutes and provided steady secondary playmaking and scoring punch. She finished with nine points on 4-from-6 shooting (1-from-2 three), along with five assists, three rebounds and three turnovers.
Senior Australian forward Summah Hanson started for UC Irvine and contributed on the glass in 23 minutes, finishing with six rebounds and a block but was held scoreless on 0-from-2 shooting.
Hunter Hernandez led Irvine with a game-high 33 points and eight rebounds, while Bailey Flavell (13 points, six rebounds) and Imani Perez (11 points) paced Hawai‘i.

UC Riverside Highlanders 58 def. UC Santa Barbara Gauchos 53 (Final)
Big West Championship – First Round
UC Riverside starter Hannah Wickstrom delivered a dominant two-way performance to lead the Highlanders to a 58–53 win against UC Santa Barbara in the Big West Championship First Round on Saturday, March 14 (AEDT).
The Highlanders (11–20, 8–12 Big West) seized control during a decisive second quarter and held firm late, forcing 16 Gauchos turnovers to secure the upset over UC Santa Barbara (20–10, 12–8).
Wickstrom played a game-high 38 minutes and finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, two assists and six steals, shooting 8-from-16 from the field, 2-from-4 from three, and 8-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Her defensive activity set the tone throughout as UC Riverside disrupted Santa Barbara’s half-court execution and generated transition scoring opportunities.
Australian sophomore forward Olivia Bradley led the Gauchos with 23 points on 7-from-12 shooting and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, adding five rebounds, two assists and a block in 30 minutes.
Fellow Australian guard Zoe Shaw started and contributed three rebounds, two steals and an assist.
Australian bench forward Makayla Minshall logged 14 minutes for UC Riverside, collecting three rebounds.
Kaylani Polk added 11 points for the Highlanders, while Zoe Borter finished with 12 for UC Santa Barbara.
UC Riverside advances to the next round of the Big West Championship.
Illinois State Redbirds 66 def. Bradley Braves 65 (Final)
MVC Tournament – Quarterfinal
Australian senior forward Amy O’Hara provided valuable interior presence off the bench, but Bradley fell one point short against Illinois State in a tight Missouri Valley Conference quarterfinal.
The Braves (20–11) battled throughout after trailing by three at halftime, but were unable to complete the comeback as the Redbirds (—) held on in the final minutes.
O’Hara, a 1.85m forward from Melbourne, played 28 minutes and finished with eight points on an efficient 4-from-6 shooting. She added three rebounds, an assist, two steals and three blocks, making a strong defensive impact in the paint.
Kaylen Nelson led Bradley with 26 points, while Maya Foz contributed 14 points and five rebounds.
Illinois State was powered by Trista Fayta’s dominant double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Evansville Purple Aces 76 def. Belmont Bruins 63 (Final)
MVC Tournament – Quarterfinal
Australian guard Jelena Savic provided key bench production as Evansville produced an upset win over Belmont to advance in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
The Purple Aces (9–24) took control with a dominant second quarter and maintained their advantage throughout the second half, winning the rebounding battle 44–35 and shooting efficiently from the free-throw line (18-from-24).
Freshman Savic logged 31 minutes and finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Despite shooting just 1-from-6 from the field, she made a strong impact at the line, converting 8-from-10 free throws while adding two steals and three offensive boards.
Sophomore Georgia Cox started for Evansville and contributed across the stat sheet in limited minutes, finishing with two points, four rebounds and three assists.
Camryn Runner led all scorers with 24 points and six rebounds for Evansville, while Tuti Jones paced Belmont with 18 points.

CUSA Championship – Semi-final
Australian sophomore forward Isla Airey started as Louisiana Tech closed with a dominant fourth quarter to defeat Liberty and advance to the Conference USA Championship Game.
The Lady Techsters (26–5) trailed by six entering the final period before locking down defensively and outscoring the Flames (18–13) 23–9 down the stretch. Louisiana Tech shot just 43% from the field but controlled the game at the free-throw line, converting 22-from-29 attempts.
Airey, a 1.93m forward from Melbourne, logged 18 minutes and contributed across the frontcourt rotation with two points, two rebounds, two assists and a block, shooting 1-from-1 from the field.
Jordan Marshall and Paris Bradley led Louisiana Tech with 14 points each, while Emmy Stout paced Liberty with 16 points.
