Australian senior guard Anthony Dell’Orso starred with 20 points in Arizona’s 69–65 win over UCLA in NCAA Men's Division 1 basketball on Saturday, November 15, 2025 (AEDT).
Dell’Orso, who had an 18-point outing against Utah Tech earlier in the season, has led the Wildcats to a perfect 4-0 start in 2025-26.
Will Mortimore erupted for a breakout eight-point, nine-minute burst for Charleston, while Noah Pagotto stayed perfect from the field in a 14-point showcase for East Texas A&M. Joshua Dent steered Saint Mary’s with 10 points and seven assists as all three Gaels Aussies contributed in an 80–49 win. Ben Tweedy, Abass Bodija, Roor Akhuar, and Joseph Locandro all logged rotation minutes, with several Australians sidelined or yet to debut.

The Melbourne guard was superb from deep, knocking down 4-from-7 from three, and went a perfect 4-of-4 at the line while shooting 6–from-11 overall. Dell’Orso added three assists, two rebounds, a steal, and just one turnover across 28 composed minutes, showcasing his efficiency, decision-making and ability to rise in high-leverage moments. His shot-making steadied the Wildcats during key stretches, and his perimeter confidence again underlined why he’s becoming one of Arizona’s most reliable two-way guards early in his senior season.

Sophomore Will Mortimore delivered a breakout performance in Charleston’s dominant home win, scoring eight points in nine strong minutes. The Maitland, NSW, forward was highly efficient, hitting 4-from-5 from the field, and added 3 rebounds, a block, and a steal while providing an energetic interior presence off the bench. Mortimore’s activity on both ends stood out in a game controlled by the Cougars, with his length and finishing giving Charleston valuable frontcourt depth. It was his most impactful showing of the season and a promising indicator of what he can offer in an expanded role.

The Rockhampton forward went 0–from-3 from the field (0–2 3PT) but contributed three assists, arebound, and solid defensive minutes without recording a steal or block. Tweedy also avoided turnovers, providing steady ball security in a game where Colgate struggled to keep pace with Illinois’ athleticism and size.

The Wollongong forward added five rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 26 minutes, while going 4-for-4 at the line to cap off a composed, highly effective offensive outing. Pagotto’s ability to score without wasting possessions, combined with his work on the glass and defensive activity, made him the Lions’ most reliable contributor in a tight contest.

The Melbourne forward went 1-of-9 from the field and 0–2 from deep, but added 1 block and worked the glass against a much larger Bluejays front line.
Locandro’s physicality and willingness to contest inside remained evident, yet the Hawks struggled to generate efficient offense and fell behind early. Despite the off night, his rebounding and defensive presence were among the few positives for a UMES team overmatched on the road.
