Basketball.com.au is thrilled to announce the release of Mitsubishi Motors Australia’s latest television commercial, Every Drive Matters, which brings an authentic basketball story to the centre of a national campaign.
The commercial follows the journey of rising Australian basketball talent Sitaya Fagan and her mother, Kirsten, capturing the everyday moments that have shaped Sitaya’s path to the brink of an international career.
The story culminates with Sitaya being dropped off at the airport as she prepares to take the next step in her journey, heading overseas to begin her collegiate career in 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the next major stars of Australian basketball, Sitaya’s inclusion reflects Mitsubishi Motors' true connection with basketball in Australia.
The campaign highlights the role of support, commitment, and shared moments along the way, and the road trips that bring basketballers together across the country.
Basketball.com.au worked closely with Mitsubishi Motors Australia throughout the development of the commercial, providing basketball expertise and ensuring Sitaya’s story was integrated organically and authentically.
The project was brought to life in collaboration with production agency partner Bursty.
The commercial will air across NBL broadcast coverage for the remainder of the NBL26 season.
