A surprise addition headlines Cadee's Boomers starters in the latest episode of Cut to the Jase

We've had some memorable guests already on Cut to the Jase but this week, we're bringing it back to NBL legend and former Boomer Jason Cadee as he breaks down everything happening in world basketball involving Aussies.

On episode eight, Cadee and Brayden Heslehurst talk about Josh Giddey and Jock Landale's hot start to the NBA season with both playing starring roles for the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzles.

Giddey is in career-best form, matching the greatest of all-time in Michael Jordan, as the only Bull to record back-to-back triple-doubles, while Landale is making the most out of increased opportunity in the Grizzlies starting group due to the absense of Zach Edey.

As a result of an impressive start for our Aussies in the NBA, Cadee picks who would be in his Australian Boomers starting five if a major tournament was coming in the near future... and there's a surprise inclusion in there.

Also on the episode, Cadee speaks about Australian Opals coach Sandy Brondello finding a new home with WNBA expansion franchise, the Toronto Tempo, Cayla George ageing like a fine wine in the WNBL and all the Aussies set to headline the 2025-26 NCAA college basketball season.

Our tips for the upcoming round of the NBL on Cut to the Jase.

As always, Cadee focuses on everything happening in the NBL to finish the episode, including analysing how the Sydney Kings have returned to being championship contenders after two big road wins.

The boys also give their tips for Round 8 of the NBL.
